*My informal Google acceptance speech*
The results are in! – Becks Entertainment has been awarded the Best of Weddings Award for DJ Services and wedding entertainment for 2015. This distinction is only given to the top 2% of wedding vendors showcased on The Knot, and is based on the best overall reviews by clients. We’d like to thank everyone who voted for us and was in our corner, and we are proud to be recognized as 2015 winners.
As well as that prestigious award, my DJ services is now one of only a select few vendors featured in The Knot’s Hall of Fame. The recipients of that award is less than 1%! Thank you for making us the nation’s best-rated DJ company! On a side note, thanks to all of the Pro DJs before me and many that are still going strong that helped me along the way to hone my skills. Those that helped me navigate through the business gracefully. Those that opened doors for me. Those that freely gave me those very valuable and most guarded DJ secrets. Really it's too many people to name but you all know who you are. I want to thank my mother, Carol VictoriousAlways Beck for giving me a piece of her incredible talent and creativity and my father who gifted that internal spark to succeed. Although I have won many DJ awards over the years these two are my greatest achievements to date and ones that I'm most proud of.
My past clients!!!! What can I say? Out of hundreds upon hundreds of clients I've never had one that I didn't like. How can one be so lucky? My clients motivate me because they are trusting me with such an important day in their life. Knowing that makes me try extra hard to rock the best music that the listening ears have ever heard.
One thing that I know is that it's not only about me, me and me.
I would be remissed if I didn't mention the members of the San Diego Disc Jockey Association where every single DJ company in our Association possess the skill and expertise of an award winning DJ service and I'm extremely happy to be a part of that conglomerate of professional DJ's. We all learn from each other.
If you read all the way through, thank you. I'm just happy and feeling blessed.
