It was an exciting day for the Sticky Spoon Jammers.
Face Rock Creamery in Bandon, Oregon is now carrying our Sweet & Spicy Cranberry Mustard!
The "Jammers" got to make their first delivery in person and spend the afternoon enjoying beautiful Bandon by the Sea.
It is very humbling to have our home made products being sold in such a beautiful and world famous shop.

Today our residents felt the amazing effect of a therapy chicken visit.
A group of 3 little Malaysian Serema bantam chickens visited and left a lasting impression.
They spent hours on peoples laps and paid room to room visits.
Lorraine was so relaxed she even took a nap with Poppy on her lap.

Dining Services Director Candace Kropetz started the nonprofit "The Sticky Spoon Jammers" 5 years ago right here at Bayside Terrace. They make award-winning jams and sauces and we couldn't be prouder to announce that Candace has been chosen to receive the 2018 Innovative Program Award from the Oregon Healthcare Association. Long live the Sticky Spoon Jammers!

"For Me?" Louise says after receiving flowers from Petal to the Metal Flowers. From young to old, The Boys and Girls Club and Elks Lodge members were taught flower arranging and volunteered their time so that each resident received a smile mug with flowers. Our resident and former Elks member, John, poses with Petal to the Metal owner, Robbyn. She said they cut over 3000 stems and put together over 600 arrangements. The smiles on our residents faces are priceless. Thank you!
