I was there this evening to celebrate my mum's 84th birthday, we were so impressed by the level of service and the quality of the food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a nice dinner. Unfortunately the food was pretty average (boring) and the service was really slow, despite the restaurant not being full. There was three of us at the table and one person had to wait 10 mins for their drink. I could see it on the counter, while staff were standing and chatting away. The decor is more like a cafe rather than a restaurant and tables positioned close to each other. If I could use one word to describe it I would say: boring.

A must go to place in the beautiful Clontarf area. We were here 1st for a lovely brunch on a sunny Sunday, the place was buzzing and packed ,but our food was awesome & the service was good too. After that we came back here for a dinner and again it was an outstanding culinary experience for such a small local restaurant. Before we flew back home we came to say by to the lovely staff and had a quick lunch before going straight to the airport. Dont just walk in as this place is always packed ,book to void disappointment ! cant wait to come back to Dublin, we will visit again !

I was with a large rather rowdy group dining in The Bay on Saturday night. The food was excellent, the staff were so nice couldn't have been more friendly & attentive. I would certainly go back again. Well done to all.

Below average experience. Slow and unattentive service, it wasnt busy. Empty plates sat on our table and others forever. The food was uneventful, the fish was fresh, but the flavours werent great. This is a cafe, not a restaurant and for the same money you can have a meal 10 times better at, perhaps Brass Monkey or Aqua in Howth.

Spent the afternoon here. Great food and chilled out atmosphere. The Catalan fish stew is a must.

Great location lovely food. In the morning you can enjoy great brunches (Eggs Benedict, frittatas, French Toast and much more) with a tasty smoothie or good coffee. Afternoon or night menu is equally toothsome with delicious hot stone steaks and a wide variety of other tasty dishes. The view is fabulous and the service is really good. The layout is the only let down as it can be a bit cramped and while I like the slightly "living room" decor others find it a bit kitsch. Overall, one of my favourite places in north Dublin and definitely worth frequent visits!
