Menu

Established in 2013.

Bavaria Bierhaus's two massive bars were made in Erding, a town in the Bavaria region of Germany. The workers who constructed the long, wooden bars even flew to New York to assemble them, along with the high, circular tables common in beer houses.
The team brought on chef John Vaughn to install a traditional German menu littered with dishes like pretzels, schnitzel, and spaetzle.
The two-level restaurant, which sits on the cobblestone block between South William and Pearl streets, will feature more than 20 German brews. Definitely a destination place for locals and visitors alike.

I ve been living in bavaria for years and this pub is nothing to do with a bavarish bierhaus. the service is one of the worst i ve never had before. I ordered a bretzel and ask please not add nothing. So all plenty of fat.. For what asking.. ? really very very bad...

Probably the worst schnitzel I've ever had. Drinks were also terrible. For an overpriced Stone St. place, they could try a little harder.

The way to go Bavarian ! The Erdinger selection is off the charts. Food is what you would expect, real German ! good stop, will end up being the last of the day.... Dunkleweizen or any Erdinger weiss will keep you from going anywhere else. No need to wait for Oktober. Prost !!!

The beer options are good, but don't bother trying to eat anything. They are overpriced and under deliver. With so many options available on Stone Street there are many other places to go. The worst has to be the blaring music - they repeated the same 4 songs continuously for nearly 1.5 hours.

A new German Restaurant, opening just a few months ago. It is a nice, new space, with a large, high ceilinged bar area downstairs as well as an upstairs area. The interior is beautiful-- elegant glass lights hang over the bar, there are wooden tables and wooden paneling on the walls.I was informed that the bar was imported from Germany, where it was made. Waiters and Waitresses wear the traditional lederhosen and dirndls. The menu is mostly German including wursts, wiener schnitzel, and spaetzel. There are also some standard pub staples like french fries and burgers. The pretzel is enormous and delicious. It was was very fresh with a nice, slightly buttered crust. It came with mustard, a cheese sauce, and some cornichons. I did not have beer, but there appeared to be at least 10 beers on tap plus about 10 more bottled beers on the menu, all of which were German. A nice, new addition to Stone Street.
