Last week, #Elsevier  thanks me for my reviewing efforts, and informs me on the Elsevier Reviews Profiles (still in BETA; http://goo.gl/cjGwJi), and today, #Springer  does the same, and invites me to take a Peer Reviewer Rewards survey (http://goo.gl/IAcPTJ). Is the road to reviewer recognition at these major scientific publishers finally being paved? #peerreview #science #reviewing #reviewerrecognition #tw #li #fb

+Stacy Konkiel, I'm sorry to hear that you will be leaving +ImpactStory. It was very nice to hear a lot from them through your voice... Good luck in your future endeavours!
We’ve made a lot of happy announcements here on our blog, but today we’re making a sad one: Friday was Stacy’s last day at Impactstory. We’re eliminating our Director of Marketing position, because we need to focus significantly less on marketing and significantly more on finding product-market fit. We’re at a point where we must …

Introduction
I'm a scientific researcher at the Belgian Nuclear Research Centre (SCK••CEN) since December 2013. Given the large number of research dissemination initiatives available online nowadays (on which I try to be "present"), the only up-to-date information on my research is available on my blog, and communicated through my G+ profile.
I use the pseudonym Sreigor for my art-related activities, that mainly consist of creating a digital painting from time to time.
My music-related activities consist nowadays mainly of teaching guitar and an occasional guest performance. Have a look at my blog or G+ profile for more information!

We discovered this place because it was one of the Restaurant Week winners participating in the January 2015 Restaurant Week event. The restaurant is run by a very enthusiastic young couple, and they deliver great food and a great wooden concept! Each and every one of the appetisers was splendid, as was the five-course menu and the matching wines. They work a lot with local products (e.g. Vliermaal Schorpion sparkling wine, Belgian cheese, Wild Weasel whisky (I'm actually not a fan of this one (i.e. the three-year-old)... but they had Bowmore and Talisker, so that's OK), etc.), which we liked a lot. As top-of-the-bill, they poured a fortified Barossa Valley wine, to go with my cheese board, which reminded me of the day I spent there in the summer of 2013... This is definitely one of my favourites!

We had the five course menu. The food was really excellent, as were the wines and the service. The price is in accordance. I can really recommend this restaurant if you like Michelin-star-quality fine dining.
