More campaign politics. Has anyone seen the President? Obama evidently thinks he has to campaign instead of trying to try to act like a President. Maybe get through this new war he's now got us into, and yes a war by any other name is still a war. Ask a Vietnam war veteran.

Don't buy these are poorly made and don't last. All the trim came unstitched and the latch ring became unstitched as well.

No intelligent person wants our children to smoke, drink or do drugs, but how is it that Blomberg thinks he has the rite or authority to supersede the responsibility of the parents. How about holding the parents responsible and fining or jailing them when they don't properly take care of their children.
The government doesn't have the right to supersede the rights of American families. Laws are already on the books that need to be enforced to make parents responsible for there own children. It's the same for child welfare as it is for truancy. If the kids don't go to school then their parents need to be held responsible through fines or jail time or whatever it takes to make parents be parents and not just breeders. By allowing the government to supersede parental responsibility you are turning many of them into breeders.

I signed a bill that raises the legal age to sell tobacco products to 21, preventing young people from experimenting with tobacco when they are most likely to become addicted.

Does anyone trust anyone in Washington? What Washington needs where politics is involved is an enema. Every last one of them need to be fired. There also needs to be an audit every year as a check and balance to make sure the life long politicians know they have to account for every penny every day. The trick is selling the media. I we had politicians that actually did what they were paid to do the media would only have the weather to talk about and who would watch TV.

“To all my friends in Congress, understand that how business is done in this town has to change because we've all got a lot of work to do on behalf of the American people and that includes the hard work of gaining their trust.”

Do you agree with President Obama? Do you have any trust left in Congress or Washington?

Go ahead raise the minimum wage, the picture will stay the same. Profit margin will stay the same just the prices will reflect the price increase and everything will cost a lot more. So what are you changing and who are you hurting?

Get it right? Obama couldn't make change for a dime with 10 pennies in his hand. Out Washington politicians already are out of touch with the needs of the American voter. They are by enlarge owned by lobby groups or being told how to vote by the all powerful party leaders. What we need is strict term limits. Congressmen 2 terms (12 years), Senators 2 terms (12 years), President 2 terms (8 years) and something new Chief Justices max term of 10 years and presidential appointees only 2 years and can't be reappointed. And finally no federal politician can ever hold more than 4 terms total in any combinations of offices. If there was strict term limits there would be less chance of corruption and miss use of power and most of all it would be harder to forget who they work for. Our current out of touch Washington elite believe that they now what's best for the American voters. They believe that we need them to survive. That is reason enough to fire everyone of them.

'If only Obama could have a third term, this time he'd get it right.'
It’s time to return the power to the people.

It would be better for the American public to have stricter and enforced term limits, 6 years for a senator, 12 years for a congressman, 8 years for the President and 10 years for the Justices. While we are reforming government, we also should limit the Presidents abilities to appoint officials. A cabinet position should first be approved by the House, is it needed, and then if needed a general election should be opened to approve, disapprove or position not necessary vote be used to have or not have the cabinet member.
The electoral college also needs an enema and needs to be revamped. With most Americans educated and able to vote in Presidential Elections the Electoral College vote is only necessary if there is a nationwide TIE. This way the majority vote is all that's needed to win an election and the Electoral College would have to be convened only if the difference between the top candidates would be less then 1% apart and make a statistical tie. Never again would the minority candidate be given the Presidency.

I wonder how much NY's super genius mayor spent to come up with the conclusion that if kids don't go to school they get bad grades. Now Mr. Blomberg you should pay for the study by fining parents who don't ensure their kids are in school. Put the responsibility back on the parents to be parents and not breeders.

Truancy impacts the safety, health, and educational outcomes of our young people.

That’s why we created a task force to develop a bold, comprehensive set of strategies to help tackle this problem:

The native American people found out the hard way how trustworthy our great government is. What makes you think their ethics in honesty would ever change especially when trying to push something that less than 10% of American's want and Obama says it's what's best for all Americans and it's only fair that everyone participates.

53%/55% says bush had more followers and on an American population scale that's a lot. Obama should know historically when his numbers get this low and I mean record lows the other guys when big during next years election. With all the lies coming out almost daily it won't be long the media turns their back on him because he's lost his credibility and the media don't want to lose there's.

President Obama's approval ratings this week are almost identical to President Bush's at the same time in his presidency.

Do you think President Obama can rebound or will the numbers continue to drop?

I think your math is off. I can't find anyone who doesn't have a complaint about something Obama did or about something he said was not his fault. Ya you might want to recheck your math or stop counting people without a pulse or lobotomy patients.

According to our latest poll, 74% of Americans think Congress is doing more to CONTRIBUTE to problems facing our country than they are to SOLVING them.

Do you agree?
