Nicely done.  How did you mount the camera?  Looks like you found some threaded tube to fit the ocular thread on the back of the Mamba.

Ladies & gentlefolk.  Any chance you could help out with an academic study?  Takes 2 minutes and sees you tag a short news clip.  Dead simple.

We really really need your help on this (and thanks if you've already had a go).

Hey peoples. Can you spare 5 minutes to help with an academic study in how we might make citizen journalism just a bit better?

It's a nice simple tagging exercise of raw news footage and is located over at...

Please do help as we really need numbers.

One of the biggest failings of G+ on Android is the inability to share outside of G+. Almost all other apps utilise the awesome android share feature so one can bookmark etc, but not app.

Is there still no way to start a Hangout from Android phones or tablets? Anyone know?

No 'wave of knee-jerk enforcement' come 26 May, tho The Information Commissioner's Office won't begin enforcing the new cookies law for another six months yet - in the meantime, the regulator has issued a reminder to web outfits warning them to prepare to comply with the legislation.…

OMFG what moron at Google thought ditching latitude and placing location in G+ and not at all in maps was a good idea.

Unintuitive, unusable and plain dumb imo

They should have just linked to Latitude from Google+, Locations is utterly useless, no street view, local, tapping the contacts icon doesn't bring up the "contact card", there is also NO control over who appears on your map so it is no longer for close friends and family as anyone you happen to follow can share with you...

As for it being easier to add people I couldn't disagree more, in latitude an email is despatched to your contact with a big "accept" button, easy enough for my 70 year old mother to do, but with locations I will physically have to go through it all myself on her phone to get it set up for her...

Anyone have a solution for streaming internet based flash video (say YouTube) to a DLNA enabled TV via a Windows 7 machine?

Works rather well even with a heavier Eee Transformer. Perfect for portrait PDF reference third screen stuff
There's no need to buy a stand for your iPad, Kindle, or Android tablet when you've probably got a DVD case lying around that can do the job. Besides the case, all you need is some string for this DIY...

Proper breakfast fry-ups. Not classy but honest fair. The owners put the effort in and that makes all the difference.

A great find. Tiny sandwich shop that happens to do a neat line in Vietnamese food. And what food. The chicken curry looks boring by say a Chinese or Indian equivalent but the flavour is incredible. Gets really busy at lunch with Kings hospital staff so tables hard to get but off peak a real gem.
