Why You Want to Take Your Photos Now

Do you want to list next spring? While it may seem a long way off, there are many things that you will want to get done now before the cold winter months settle in. For starters, since the spring market starts in February or March, there could be a lot of snow on the ground when you list. This means that you won't be able to get the best photos of your home’s exterior taken, so you should consider getting that done now. To learn more, watch my latest video.

When Is the Best Time to Buy?

We often hear questions to the effect of, “When is the best time of year to get a great deal on a home?” Usually clients are asking when the seller is going to be the most willing to negotiate with them. First, you need to understand that real estate moves in cycles from peak to valley to peak again. Prices peak in June and retreat the rest of the year. That in mind, when is the best time to buy in terms of price? To find out, watch this short video.

How Does Our Current Market Compare to Last Year's?

What’s going on in the Twin Cities real estate market? Today, we’ll be bringing you a look at how this year’s market statistics compare to what we saw at this time in 2016. First of all, inventory is sparse. In fact, it’s down about 16% year over year. However, this is consistent with a trend that we see each and every year. To learn more, watch this short video.

Why Green Photos Can Make or Break a Winter Listing

Today, I’d like to go over some of the ways you can prepare your home if you plan on selling in winter or early spring. If you anticipate listing during the very late or very early months of the year, one of the key things you need to do is to have green photos. What are green photos? Basically, they’re your way of showing buyers what your home looks like when the grass isn’t brown or covered with snow. To learn more, watch this short video.
