What? You haven't made cold-brew coffee yet!
You don't know what you're missing. Cold-brew coffee is seriously good. Not just low acid, it's no acid--and full of delicious coffee flavor. But you must start with good beans. I add freshly ground coffee to cold water and let it steep overnight. In the mo...

This site is called the Annex at Market Place Mall. It is an extension of the Winston-Salem Outpatient Clinic on Kimel Park Drive. Your primary care doctor may be located here at this address. If you receive an appointment reminder card from the NC VA Healthcare Administration that says: Clinic: Marketplace Annex Location: Winston Salem Annex ... but it gives directions to the main outpatient clinic at 190 Kimel Park Drive--do not go to Kimel Park Drive. Go to this address on Peters Creek Parkway. NOTE: Don't go inside the weird mall. The Annex is located all the way around back to the right, and has its own entrance. BTW, there is no visible street signage or Annex clinic marquee as you drive along Peters Creek--but the clinic is indeed hidden back there. For some reason, the NC VA hasn't been able to correct these appointment cards and many many people--including me--go to the WRONG PLACE.

These are some of the health services and medical specialties available in Winston-Salem at the outpatient clinics: primary care; labs, x-rays, etc.; optometry; neurology; kidney specialist; endocrinology; podiatry; ear, nose & throat (not a complete list). My dad's visit with a primary care doctor was great, but ... This is what I hated--that the appointment-reminder card DOES NOT PROVIDE THE CORRECT ADDRESS and we went to the wrong clinic. My advice, until the NC VA Healthcare Admin gets its act together: If you are a first-time patient at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Winston-Salem, check your appointment card carefully. If your appointment card says this:: Clinic: Marketplace Annex Location: Winston-Salem Annex Then your appointment is not at the 190 Kimel Park Dr. address, even though the directions on the postcard and the street address on the post card ALL say Kimel Park Dr. Here is the address of "The Annex at Market Place Mall" -- 2101 Peters Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, 27103 It is four miles from the Kimel Park facility, east toward Greensboro on hwy 40. The Annex has no visible street signage or marquee from Peters Creek. Drive all the way around back on the right side of the building.
