Yoga Studio

In India, the Banyan tree is called a wish fulfilling tree. It is a huge tree with very extensive branches which spread out and send trunk like roots to the ground in order to support itself. It is said that more than 10, 000 people can sit under its shade at one time.

At Banyan Tree Yoga, this sacred tree is symbolic of the strong foundations uncovered through yoga. With an eclectic variety of classes, your “roots” have space to grow throughout the stages of life. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary in which you can discover or deepen your yoga practice.

It’s yoga practice, not yoga perfect.  Whatever draws you to your mat, you will leave feeling peaceful, calm and better equipped to handle the challenges life sends your way.  Expect to find peaceful energy, with knowledgeable and caring teachers to guide you.  We believe yoga should be a physical practice, relaxing, but also fun! Turn off your phone, leave your worries with your shoes at the door and enter with an open mind.

This is probably one of the only "traditional" yoga studios in the area. When I say "traditional", I mean it as it focus on mind, body, and soul. The atmosphere is very relax and the staff are extremely kind. They offer a wide variety of classes for everyBODY, thus there's no issues finding a class that fits you best. This place also offers a ton of workshops so if you ever wanted to deepen your yoga practice, being a member of this studio will help. The only con would be the location. The road to this studio is pretty bad and is hard to find on your first visit.

I HAVE A NEW LOVE....for YOGA :D This studio is amazing! Brandy is in tune with her students needs and abilities and adjusts accordingly. Most importantly, she is a genuine sweetheart! I am new to the studio so I have only taken classes from Brandy but I met the other instructors and they were all so welcoming and positive. All around great studio to find balance in your life! ~Rose Lancaster

I've attempted to start yoga programs before in the past but due to a back injury a lot of the poses don't work for me. I've been scared of starting out on my own and have had bad experiences trying classes that were too big for the instructor to care much about me. Beverly was VERY helpful in not only understanding my problem but in helping me figure out which poses to avoid putting too much pressure on my back. Highly recommend!! Great personal attention and friendly atmosphere.

I have been to other yoga studios in Nashua. Banyan Tree Yoga is by far the best, and the place where i found a wonderful yoga community and classes to suit everybody! They offer such a wide variety I really believe there is something here for everyone. I found different types of yoga here and now I love a wide variety of their classes. Some classes are hard, some make you sweat, some are fun, some are quiet, some are gentle, they also offer yin and restorative classes that you will absolutely fall in love with! I get so much out of my yoga practice and I'm so glad I found Banyan Tree Yoga!

I was nuts about yoga when I lived in Boston, but let going to actual classes fall by the wayside when I moved up to Nashua. After trying out the various studios around the area, I can say that Banyan Tree Yoga is easily the best, most comprehensive yoga studio in the Nashua area. I've been to Brandi's Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, Jess's Yin Yoga and Jackie's Zumba class and they've all been consistently excellent. What I love best is that they keep yoga relatable while still helping you keep that proper yogi mindset (I've had too many yoga instructors in my life fall into the categories of either "Too focused on the mystical side that it makes it bewildering for the us Western folk" or "Manic Pilates Instructor Disguising Herself as Yoga Instructor"). Very much recommended!

Love this studio! Brandy is so friendly, sweet and makes you feel super comfortable in her studio! I started taking prenatal yoga classes there and now have moved on to Mommy & me yoga. Its a great place to meet and interact with other moms - all while doing something great for your body. I definitely recommend this studio! Kelly Carter
