Buk Sing Choy Li Fut kung fu - Foundation Training Form is a combination of all the basic Choy Li Fut kung fu techniques. Each technique is trained individually to get the correct form, coordination, correct activation of the body to achieve the intended result in application. The techniques from the Foundation Training form are repeated many, many, many times until they become second nature and become part of the practitioner's movement patterns. When called upon in sparring application, the practitioner can deliver or execute the movements automatically and naturally.

The practice of kung fu helps you to become more agile, more coordinated, improves flexibility. It also increases your muscular endurance. It will definitely burn a lot of calories.

Kung fu training also engages your mind and you won't get bored. Unlike running on a treadmill, you have to be focused to do the techniques correctly. At the same time, you can explore the possibilities of magnifying your own body leverage. With little or minimal effort, you can have a big effect. For example, with a quick twist of your own body, you can cause a person physically bigger than you to lose balance and fall onto the ground.

Taking the lessons learned from kung fu practice, you can apply the kung fu movements in your activities of daily living. Gradually, you will find that your movements are lighter and smoother. Less injuries risks.

It is about knowing how to move your body with the correct timing, coordination, mindset. When the movements are natural to you, your perceived effort exertion is minimal, just like walking. You will get less injuries in your everyday life activities. That means a better quality of life.
