And here is why I no longer care to pay attention to politics related to the US.
The US senate and congress serve little function.
FBI is not a sub committee of either of the former.
Political parties and the FBI cross state borders.
A body of power investigating and putting a sitting
president on trial without impeachment after winning
the election. Whereof the matter if he was fit for office
should've been settled beforehand. Senate has not
been eager to confirm appointments to the white house.
There are lack of choices and amount of people taken
on white collar crime and asked to testify against
the sitting President is accumulating rapidly and
involves lawyers.
This is not how checks and balances are supposed to
work between the Senate and Congress.
House of Representatives have no impeached the
sitting President, and the senate is not investigation
or putting it on trial. The FBI does not have police
authority in either of these places and cannot be
given it. It's not a Senator running the investigation
or a committee or a collection of experts.
The whole mess is unconstitutional to begin with
and the circus seem to be wanting to have a sitting
president tried in the court of public opinion.
Not to mention that it seems like the FBI can just
throw a stand behind their back and find someone
to nail for economic crime.
At the same time Trump seems to be doing half right
on behalf of climate to reduce import and export void
of taxes. Rather than making promises and doing
nothing like any other politician spinning a haze of
confusion. Half right and half corrupt in order to survive
that world is my guess on whats going on.
Given they still got nothing and one guy after the other
seem to be going down, and how few confirmations
and how difficult it seems for him to employ people
he must be pretty squeaky clean.
Here is the follow on problem.
Does Trump know the intended red line between congress
and international politics? Sanctions are not a trade agreement
for starters. It was unanimous, so he can force a re-election
if the same bunch of corrupt statesmen that don't respect the
constitution get re-elected. And what is senate doing not confirming or make sure the White House is fully staffed? Would that hinder the FBI?
Doubt a situation like this has happened before, but he could just go
to the Joint Chiefs of staff and ask for support to do that.
So how is the military industrial complex doing?
Keen on moving on the military engineering projects?
This is again the contractors whom the Chief's of Staff need to
respect in order to be sure they have a military to hide behind.
I'm curious what they have to say about climate just around now.

Take note of this story carefully, the FBI and Citibank is investigating
a sum of money from the Russian embassy to their own Ambassador.
I suspect it's risk payment.
nordic.businessinsider.com - The FBI and Citibank are reportedly investigating a suspiciously large 2016 payment from the Russian embassy to their ambassador to the US6 j
The FBI? They have no authority in a Russian embassy little less what the CIA is supposed to be doing.
thehill.com - FBI contradicts Trump claim that China hacked Clinton’s private email server6 j
"his effort confirmed the existence of Americans working in the United States for Soviet intelligence.[17] Hoover was administering this project, but he failed to notify the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of it until 1952."
They could WITHIN borders for their OWN citizens.
So how with Russia?
"Unlike the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which is a domestic security service, the CIA has no law enforcement function and is mainly focused on overseas intelligence gathering, with only limited domestic intelligence collection."
"The discovery of Soviet spies operating in the US allowed Hoover to pursue his longstanding obsession with the threat he perceived from the American Left, ranging from Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA) union organizers to American liberals."
So here we have the FBI making a mess on multiple counts.
And this is from Wikipedia put into context.
"Also during this time, a joint US/UK code-breaking effort called "The Venona Project"—with which the FBI was heavily involved—broke Soviet diplomatic and intelligence communications codes, allowing the US and British governments to read Soviet communications."
Well, attitudes are still around. Misinterpreted as a constitutional mandate.6 j
"The Bureau of Investigation (BOI) was created on July 26, 1908, after the Congress had adjourned for the summer.[11] Attorney General Bonaparte, using Department of Justice expense funds,[11] hired thirty-four people, including some veterans of the Secret Service,[14][15] to work for a new investigative agency. "
So it started as a committee, with roots back to:
"In 1896, the National Bureau of Criminal Identification was founded, which provided agencies across the country with information to identify known criminals."
Let's not touch upon how NSA has roots to monitoring telegram traffic to allow early warning that "something a foot out in the bushes".
Growing into, "let's try and understand before the recipient."6 j
