Welcome to the official Google+ page of 2015 European Games!
Introduction
The first European Games will take place in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, in summer of 2015. 18 sports have so far been confirmed for the 2015 Games. The Games were designed by and are to be regulated by The European Olympic Committees (EOC).

The launch of the Games was announced at the 41st General Assembly of the European National Olympic committees in Rome, on December 8, 2012.

It is expected that between 6000 and 7000 athletes will compete in the first European Games. Athletes will be selected and managed by their respective National Olympic Committee (NOC).
