It's sunny, 84 degrees, and...well...perfect in #SanDiego . As #EricChurch  would say, "All I wanna do is put a drink in my hand." #mojito

Only 4 beachside Carnaval shows left this #summer . Our Thursday night event is open to all members of the community, not just resort guests! Check out this cool 30-second video on what it's all about: http://bit.ly/1tON0xN

A #SanDiego  sunset, all-you-can-eat churrasco, and #Samba  music and dancing. Don't just take it from us...take it from a Brazilian, who had this to say on TripAdvisor yesterday about our   #Carnaval .

"As a Brazilian, I can assure that the food is authentic and delicious! I can say the same about the performances, different dances, capoeira and a great Brazilian band! We had such a good time in a beautiful environment with a perfect sunset!"

Older facility but very nice. Staff was very nice. The view rooms were nice. Reserved an extra room (actually paid for it ) the person canceled late. The manager removed that room off bill. I know they were not sold out that night but we're still accommodating.

The location is hard to beat for a family friendly getaway. 10 minute walk to a major beach with shopping, restaurants, boardwalk, etc. Belmont Park is 2 blocks with lots to do for kids and adults of all ages. We arrived late and were happy to find a couple grubbin' taco shops near the beach that we're open until 1am. The Hotel's pool is heated and nicely kept. The video game room was hard to find but has a small collection of 80s classics. Our hotel room is quite large with a full kitchen and space for the kids to play. Appliances and fixtures are dated and some a bit worn but everything is functional and clean. The in-wall heater/AC works well. The grounds are large with lots to explore, including gardens with ponds and private harbor beaches with boats and boards to rent. There is a large park and playground across the street, too. Sea World is walkable or a 5 minute drive.

Great service. I attended a Christmas work party for my bf's work place. The food they served was superb. I loved the chicken, it was so tender. The asparagus that came with the chicken was cooked to perfection as well. It was not soggy nor too firm. The service staff were real quick at passing out the food and with over 100 guests I didn't have to wait long for the food. The only thing I didn't like we're the prices for the alcoholic beverages.

The employees are busy bees working hard with smiles. One lady told me that she has worked here for 33 years. That almost says everything. The property is a little older, however sometimes older is better. The location is ideal. I would stay here again.

Went in December during the cold months. Super nice hotel staff. Very nice surrounding areas with great water view and beach. Sun rise and sunset are beautiful. Great individual patio. Units are on first or second level. Each place has its own parking spot in front of unit. There are no elevators to second floor. Baby crib was confirmed to already be in the room but was not and had to call for it. Sink tap is very loud and the pipes scream and rumble the entire washroom. Hot water had it's moments of not being very hot. Towel rack right on top of toilet making it weird location and touching toilet seat. Toilet seat too close to wall and I'm a skinny person. Heater works well but is loud when it turns on and off. Heater heat does not reach the closet or washroom. First night the house keeping still had not cleaned our room by 5pm. We then had to tell them to skip it that night as we wanted to relax in room by then. Left message with management but no response to our concerns.

Great place to stay! Very accommodating staff... kid friendly. Conveniently close to literally everything. Love the movie nights by the pool. Only down is the restrooms are a tad small.

The area is very calm, check in was fairly quick and simple. I was told about their amenities, the bar and restaurant. I stayed in a cottage that was facing the bay, the view was excellent. The room was very clean, it included a refrigerator, however the bathroom and shower seemed to be dated. Overall would book again.

We stayed 5 nights at the Bahia. The staff was friendly. Rooms were clean, but could use some updating. The rooms looked much nicer online. Very disappointed in the shower. No water pressure 😣 The food in the restaurant is ok but very expensive. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Felt unsafe on the bottom floor public beach access side. The housekeeper did an outstanding keeping our room tidy. We appreciated that.
