The hotel is beautiful and we were very excited to stay there; however, upon our arrival we found out that their AC was broken. The entire building was down and the staff did not know if they were going to be able to fix it within the day. No one contacted us and we had to book a last minute hotel, the Holiday Inn Orlando Resort which was horrible. When we asked why we were not contacted the manager became snooty and defensive instead of being somewhat apologetic or understanding. The least they could have done is alerted us in advance so that we could have had time to make alternate plans instead of having to rush to the first dump around.

BEWARE HIDDEN FEES AND LOUD AC UNIT!!! My husband and I came here in January for 2 nights to stay so that we could spend time with other family members at Disney parks. We booked online on Expedia for a decent price and everything looked great. Perfect for a 2 night stay. Even when we pulled in, it looked nice and the people were very friendly and helpful. We liked the location being close to downtown Disney, and the pool was nice. On check-in, we found ourselves lost in extra fees. Parking fee. "Room tax" "guest service" and "hotel fee" all came to be an extra $56 per night total. We were definitely fooled by the fees and have never seen this in any hotel before. Very disappointing, considering we could have stayed at a much more reputable hotel for the same cost, and probably would have had we known about these extra fees. Then on our way up to our room, the decor was very metro-classy with lots of whites and blue decor, seemed to be very nice, but the closer we got to our room the less authentic the hotel felt. We got into our room and the AC was BLASTING very LOUDLY. So we turned it down thinking nothing of it. The rest of the room was beautiful. Shower clean, bathroom clean, beds nice. Unfortunately the wonder ended there, as the sounds in the hotel made it very difficult to sleep. After a long day at Disney or preparing for a long day of travel, my husband and I came back to the hotel for sleep, only to find that we could not sleep at all due to the loud and constant AC unit located on the ceiling above the door. It was unbearably loud and disturbing at only 72 degrees. We even turned it off to get some relief from the noise, but then we could hear every movement and door slam in the hall (thin walls?). It almost seemed as though the Ac unit was placed by the door at an unbearably loud volume just to cover up the noise in the hall. We both struggled to sleep and regret terribly staying at that hotel. We would never recommend this to anyone nor ever stay again due to the quality and hidden fees!

Had to wait 30 minutes for room to get ready and I arrived at 4:00pm. AC in the room never got cold, I don't think I actually controlled the temperature in the room. Ordered shampoo from front desk and never received it. At check out was charged $250 for smoking fee and we NEVER smoked in the room. Manager stated they went in the room and took pictures of smoking evidence. First of all, if I smoke outside of the hotel that's not their problem. Also, that was a total violation of my privacy. Never has management gone into my hotel room for any reason without me knowing. The room was also a little dirty, cleaning could be improved by a lot. I cleaned the bathroom sink area because I do it at every hotel I stay and the towel was pretty dirty. Marc from pool bar was awesome. Will probably never stay here again.

THE SPA WAS GREAT. THE HOTEL WAS A NIGHTMARE. IT REEKED OF MOLD AND MILDEW AND I HAD TO LEAVE AFTER 1 NIGHT BECAUSE I COULD NOT TAKE A DEEP BREATH WHEN THE MASSAGE THERAPIST ASKED ME TO DO IT. THEY SPENT SO MUCH MONEY ON DECORATIONS AND LOVELY FURNITURE, THEY SHOULD HAVE FIRST GOTTEN RID OF THE MILDEW SMELL. I AM AWAITING THE RESULTS OF MY CHEST XRAY TO SEE IF I HAVE ANYTHING IN MY LUNGS FROM THE HOTEL. DO NOT STAY IN THE MAIN TOWER IF YOU GO. ALSO BE AWARE OF ALL THE EXTRA CHARGES THEY TACK ON LIKE RESORT FEES AND FOR SELF PARKING ALSO.

My parents have stayed in the same building both before and after its transition. The hotel is beautiful. It is very modern and has a beautiful water feature in the lobby area. They offer complementary water and lemonade in the lobby. The rooms are very pretty and a nice size. The bathroom is large and well appointed. The staff are very attentive and provide free water bottles daily. If there was any complaint I have it is regarding parking. It's ridiculous that you have to pay to park in addition to your room rate. Disney doesn't do it so I don't know why the B Resort does.

My husband and I bought a couples massage deal off Living Social and here is my take-away: The hotel is swanky and clean. The complimentary valet was prompt and polite. The spa staff was ok. The two massage therapists were on-point, very nice, accommodating and knowledgeable. They stole the show. The start in the "locker room" with sandals and robe was good. The foot bath next and massage itself was perfect and wouldn't have changed anything (except purchase a longer package!) After the massage the ability to get dressed slowly and take a shower was a plus. I've always handed my masseuse cash as a tip for a job well done while exiting... I did that and then got to the cash register only to find out that I "owed" gratuity of a specific amount. The cashier then walked in the back to take the cash from the masseuse and then tell me I OWED an additional $4pp... That was a negative upon leaving that will stick with me. The massage itself was great although I don't think I'll return.

Spent a week here for a conference and wasn't disappointed. At first, you can almost tell that the hotel itself is kinda dated with some renovations that were completed on the interior. Overall the hotel experience wasn't that bad. The rooms were spacious and clean, property was well kept and the pool area was nice. Additionally, the hotel is located close to plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Something's that stood out, parking is $16/day and the wifi on the 7th floor rarely worked, so I ended up tethering through my phone. One very be nucance was that there are only two elevators in the main tower, one morning we waited approximately 15 minutes before we quit and took the stairs down, so factor that during their busy times, you might want to take the stairs. Other than that, if you're staying in the Orlando area for a conference or just visiting, this isn't a bad place to stay.
