. The lithium-ion high-voltage battery is positioned centrally in the Drive module of the BMW i3 and thus optimally protected against external influences.
The driving range depends on a variety of factors, especially: personal driving behaviour, selected route, weather conditions, usage of heating/cooling and preconditioning.
BMW i3: energy consumption (combined): 12,9 kWh/100 km, CO2-emission (combined) 0 g/km. BMW i3 with Range Extender: energy consumption (combined): 13.5 kWh/100 km; Fuel consumption (combined): 0.6 l/100 km; CO2 emissions (combined): 13 g/km.
