The case for pet insurance: my dog, Benny Bix Ochman, suffers from idiopathic seizures - the medical term for we don't know why he gets them. 

He takes an expensive medication and has to see a doggie neurologist on occasion for checkins. 

I have had +Trupanion - Pet insurance insurance since he was a puppy and they have been wonderful about covering these expenses. Without insurance, I don't know how people are able to cover some of the things that inevitably come up.

A friend's doodle just went through thousands in vet bills because of a foreign object he swallowed that made him deathly sick. Sadly, pet owners sometimes have to put down their pets when expenses get out of hand.

Consider getting insurance when your dog or cat is a baby. Just saying...

What a terrific way to promote this wonderful event! 
 
We are making blankets all day long. This may not sound exciting, but when you have at least 100 people at each location sewing, cutting, pinning - it's quite the event! We average 200 blankets in 5 hours at these large events.  Connecticut Binky Patrol has thrown down the gauntlet and issued Beaverton, OR a challenge! We accept and will be broadcasting live from the events throughout the day. 

If you are interested in attending either event, dropping off FLEECE to make no-sew binkies. All blankets will be donated to local area shelters, hospitals and transitional housing. In Beaverton, we are sending a bunch up to Washington for the communities affected by the loss of the mudslide victims. They are really hurting up there - the ripple effect at it's worse!
