That's awesome and powerful information.  I wonder why this hasn't come out publicly sooner.

Nothing like some new extinction event research to start your day. An asteroid that dwarfs both Chicxulub and Mount Everest in size ( between 37 and 58 kilometers (23 to 36 miles) wide?! YIKES.

Read all about it here: http://news.agu.org/press-release/scientists-reconstruct-ancient-impact-that-dwarfs-dinosaur-extinction-blast/

Thank you to all of you who've supported our efforts and shared our video and news yesterday. We can't build Sentinel without you.

We're still catching up on a lot of messages and questions, so we thank you for patience.

Greg Scheiderer of Seattle Astronomy Blog gave an excellent overview of yesterday's press conference. We hope to have the video to share with you soon.

In the meantime, please give Greg's post a read: http://www.seattleastronomy.com/blog1/2014/04/an-earth-day-plea-to-help-spot-killer-asteroids/

"Stalking Asteroids!" Now that's a new way to say it... we hadn't thought of that one

Ed Lu's interview in WIRED is online now! If you heart our mission, please share and share often. (Plus, this may be our new favorite picture of him.)
