Mary Poppins will be playing at the grove theater 276 E 9th St. Upland, CA 91786 Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family who live in a big house in London on Cherry Lane. Things are not going well for the family, the children, Jane and Michael, are out of control and are in need of a new nanny. Jane and Michael have their own ideas about what sort of caretaker they should have, while their parents—and in particular Mr. Banks—are insistent on someone strict for the job. When a mysterious young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep, the family finds that she’s the answer to their prayers, but in the most peculiar way. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones she has a profound effect upon. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “anything can happen if you let it.”

Not to be confused with Ayres Suites next door (closer to Milliken).. We stayed at the end of June 2013. Nice rooms, great high-speed internet. The breakfast buffet is a bit skimpy. Don't get a room on the first floor anywhere near the side exits or you will be awakened all night by the slamming exit doors.. Overall a good value for the price.

My company used to put me up in the Ayres for training before we switched to the Hyatt at Mills Mall(which I think is much nicer). I never had any issues with the hotel to be honest. The beds were comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. The decor is a kind of old stuffy bourgeoisie. Its like an old mansion, you would almost expect everything to be dusty. The rooms have a fridge, a microwave and a wet bar. My favorite part of the hotel was the breakfast. You can choose a made to order breakfast for no additional charge. Eggs, omelettes, bacon, sausage.... the best breakfast I've had a hotel yet. The hotel also does a little happy hour in the lobby from 5 - 7 during which they provide drinks and appetizers for free which is really cool. I would say this place is a pretty safe bet. So if young and hip isn't a must have and you can get a cheap rate I would say go for it.

My mom was put up in this hotel Sun-Fri 3 weeks in a row for work training. Cleaning crew stole a dove dark chocolate bar and most of a box of 100 calorie snack packs. Also tossed her $5 ace bandage she had to buy after injuring her ankle and she had no time to replace it. Beware leaving tempting snacks.
