Grateful to Wanda Carter for posting my Self-analysis based on Nguzo Saba. However, it was edited most likely by a spellchecker to change spelling of paratransit. Paratransit is one word, not hyphenated, although Maat is one word sometimes hyphenated or not, but with two syllables. It is not Mott. It is not Matt. It is not Mat. It is not Meat. It is not It is pronounced Ma as in Mama and ott as in otter. It means order, Truth, reciprocity, balance among its 7 principle meanings and 42 laws. Maat weighs your heart upon the scale or feather of Truth. It is not an easy name to carry nor an easy task for people to slip by her without consequences of their actions. But have no fear. Maat is fair and only asks that you respect the Truth.

Let us control our home services and hire our own workers. Let our workers be paid for overtime as needed, so we have better health and well-being and do not end up in institutions due to reduced services or being forced to accept workers unqualified and unfamiliar with our needs as the Governor privatizes more of human services.
