No Paranoid settings after update to Beta 7

After updating my Maguro to Beta 7 I miss the PA specific settings e.g. to switch off the "go to next track" option when long pressing the volume buttons. It seems a big part of it is missing, the PA features are still present though.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Google sync with CM11 on Xperia T
Has anyone managed to get CM11 nightlies running with sync of Google data? The ROM seems pretty stable, but it doesn't sync contacts, mail and so on. That makes it barely usable for me ...

Seems to be a CM11 <--> Xperia T specific problem, found others complaining about that in different forums ... use OmniRom in the meantime ...

A4 output format (instead of US letter) for cloud print from Android 4.4
Received my 4.4 update today :-)
Tried the new cloud print feature on my N7, but if I change the output format to A4, contents are cut at the borders, because the border size is too small - did anyone have a similar problem? Fixes? Does someone use cloud print with A4 format successfully?

* Xperia T bricked after flashing 10.2 nightlies *
While 20131109 was working (but draining battery too fast), newer nightlies always brick my phone. Screen stays black when rebooting after the update, then only forcing soft reset by pressing power+vol.up for 10sec brings the phone to fastboot mode, allowing me to flash old 10.1 kernel and recover my 10.1 nandroid backup. Did anyone face similar problems? Tried again today with 20131123-nightly ... No luck :(

The RC1 was there, I swear :-)

Seems like it has been pulled. See (http://www.cyanogenmod.org/blog/cyanogenmod-10-2-rc1) and german heise mentioning the xperia t ( http://m.heise.de/open/meldung/CyanogenMod-10-2-fast-fertig-2053141.html?from-classic=1)

I just signed the petition "Google: Update the Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.4 "Kitkat"" on Change.org.

It's important. Will you sign it too? Here's the link:

Thanks!

In my CM account, when I go to devices, I get this message:
*
Warning! This device has been associated with multiple CyanogenMod Accounts. Locate and Remote Wipe features will only work for the user that is currently logged in to this device.
*
Its probably because I have installed the ROM again and made the login to my account during the initial setup twice, but I definitely have only one account on the device and only one CM account at all.
Is there a way to fix this?

It means the device has logged in to a different account previously. You can de-associate it on the cm account website.

Enabling fstrim on Galaxy Nexus running CM11
As my GNex got permanently slower and someone informed me, that Android can use TRIM from version 4.3 on, I did some research and tried it out. As I had some trial and error experience, I thought I share this little tut:

>> Based on: http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/50784/running-trim-from-shell

>> Which I had to alter a bit to get it work:

On a Ubuntu machine, installing adb quickly:
sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb

On the GNex, prerequisites are:
* root-access
* Getting the device online in adb (4.4.2 specific):
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15079211/android-4-2-2-device-offline

You would need to have fstrim in system/bin. Find it in this XDA post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37244488&postcount=180

> If the file has a .txt extension after download, remove it <

Open a terminal, start up adb and then switch user to root:
$ "adb shell" from your os terminal
$ "su" to switch to the root user

To copy fstrim to your /system/bin path you first need to mount the system path as Read/Write:
# "mount -o rw,remount /system"

Then copy fstrim to the system path:
# "cp <pathtofstrim>/fstrim /system/bin"

Next you need to change permissions of fstrim to include execute:
# "chmod 766 /system/bin/fstrim" to make fstrim executable by root

After setting the correct permissions on fstrim you can run these commands from adb (as root):
# fstrim -v /data

# fstrim -v /cache

# fstrim -v /system

>> Don’t worry, it will take some time to work after you execute the commands !

(At the end, to exit the root shell: type „exit“ 2 times to get back to terminal prompt of the computer)

Executing fstrim will now also work from the Terminal Emulator app that comes with CM11:

* Start Terminal Emulator
* Type: „su“ to get root access. You will be prompted to allow access for SU
* execute fstrim as above
* exit (end root access)
* exit (leave Terminal)

The binary is already included in CM11 M8, so no need to search for it anymore. Still I  wonder why LagFix doesn't work anymore as it was convenient to have it set to trim each night, when the phone is charging and not used.

Troubles with my Xperia T

As the Bond phone has been on the nexus dev program for some time, I expected it to be a great candidate for flashing CM on it. Now, running 10.1.3 stable, I encounter some issues:

* Maps is crashing after a few minutes when using navigation
* Phone freezes for some minutes after using HDR pro camera and just locking the phone without exiting the app. When I try to wake and unlock the phone again, it is unusable for some minutes
* Music player crash regularly (Google play and Apollo, but not Spotify)

Besides from these issues it works pretty well - much better and faster than Sony stock ROM

Have someone encountered similar hassles and can provide solutions?
