Google I/O is right around the corner, and the schedule is now available for our planning needs. This year's keynote is scheduled for around two hours, followed by various breakout sessions.

The brand new Google I/O 2015 Android app is here!
#google #io15 #android
Google Developers originally shared to I/O:
Download the Google I/O 2015 Android app! #io15

Following the release of the I/O schedule last week ( on the I/O web app (, you can now also customize your schedule and plan your I/O experience via the Android app:

Feel free to switch back and forth between the I/O web app and the I/O Android app -- your schedule will always sync between the two. To remain even more in sync, you can enable the Google Calendar integration in the Android app settings to see your I/O schedule alongside your personal events, all in one place.

In addition to the schedule, the I/O’15 Android app includes the agenda, a video library from past I/Os and an overview of the social conversations happening about the conference on both Google+ and Twitter. By indicating if you’ll be attending in-person or remotely, the app shows you only the content that’s relevant to you - this means onsite attendees are offered facilitated pre-event WiFi configuration and can browse the venue map, while the remote experience shows live streamed content (with closed captions and Cast support).

New this year: inspired by Google Now, the Explore screen aggregates similar content in cards. We hope this will make it even easier for you to find interesting events to add to your schedule.

Every year we build and open source the I/O mobile app with the goal of providing the developer community with a canonical example of a well designed Android app. This year our development applies Android best practices across testing, architecture, and UI, as well as a full implementation of the material design library. More details about the open source to come soon!

The app release to all users on Google Play might take up to 24 hours, so check back in soon if you’re not seeing it yet.

Regular gym-goer to this Fitness First Women club and love it! Modern equipment, awesome classes (my current favorites are Hot Iron, BBP, BodyFit, Bodycombat), helpful trainers who are almost always available to give you a great tip or explain how to use one or another machine, and nice atmosphere overall. I'd definitely recommend this place to everybody who's powerful and obsession-worthy goal is to get or stay fit.

Karavan Gözleme in Eskisehir is my absolutely favorite food place in the whole city. If you happen to be here, make sure to order their best dish — tosunum (think about it as döner in gözleme dürüm). I'm sure you'll love it! I had a pleasure to try most of Turkish cuisine, but nothing compares to the awesome taste of this dish. I confess, there are days when we're coming here 2-3 times :) Staff is polite and professional. Highly recommended!

Baker Beach is definitely one of my most favorite places in San Francisco! It's extremely beautiful and offers gorgeous views of Golden Gate Bridge. A perfect way to end your day enjoying the sunset or spend the whole weekend in this little paradise on Earth, sunbathing and picnicking! If you're planning to come here with kids, keep in mind that the northernmost end of Baker Beach is frequented by clothing-optional sunbathers.

There are always some places in your city that you just can't avoid... Gratitude is such a place! :) It was recommended to me by so many of my foodie friends that I woke up this morning with the decision to to trade my today's breakfast in the office for the one in this new wonderful place. Opened in November 2012, Gratitude quickly became a very popular vegetarian restaurant in Munich. What I especially love about this place: delicious food (as I huge fan of meat I can tell you, purely vegetarian breakfast was surprisingly good!), really lovely atmsphere (inspirational quote on the wall says "What are you grateful for?"), excellent service with a personal touch (ask for recommendations!), and lovely names they thought up for their meals: "I am great", "I am beautiful", I'm fulfilled" and the list goes on... If you're looking for a nice place for spend your breakfast, lunch or dinner time with friends or family, make sure to give Gratitude a try.

There is no doubt that Union Square Park is the heart of San Francisco! Located in the middle of downtown, it's close to almost anywhere in the city and surrounded by store (incl. the most upscale ones). Great place to catch some sun and fresh air, it offers plenty of free performances going on year round (music festivals, artwork showcases, ice skating and many more). It's my main jumping-off point for exploring other parts of downtown San Francisco. Also, really like the love symbols at the corners of Union Square, especially the one with Golden Gate Bridge on it.

"They said it couldn't be done..." Golden Gate Bridge is one of the world's best treasures, legendary, iconic, stunning, fantastic, gorgeous, awesome, and truly the most beautiful and breathtaking place in the world. It was a childhood dream that I accomplished in 2011. Love Golden Gate Bridge sooo much and happy to tears to visit it again and again. And no matter how many times I visit this place, every time it's a unique experience. It's a perfect spot to spend some time with friends and families. An absolute must-see if you are in San Francisco! In my opinion, the best view of Golden Gate Bridge is from Baker Beach.

My absolute to-go place to buy the "IsarCard monthly" MVV pass. This place is definitely the most central one among MVG service centers, but I've surprisingly never had to wait long if at all. The service team is very nice, polite and professional. If you — as me — don't have access to the ticket automate near your living place that allows you to print out a monthly MVV pass by yourself then I'd definitely recommend you this place for a quick and pleasant experience.
