Founded in 1967 by Len Neath, a retired 747 Captain with Air Canada, our business has since outgrown the owner's basement to comprise two 4,000 sq. ft. retail stores, and a growing mail order business.

We now stock over 7,000 book titles, a huge selection of collectibles, clothing, pilot supplies, kits & hobby supplies, and much, much more...

Aviation World is conveniently located beside Toronto's Pearson International Airport, a block south of the Dixon Road hotel strip. Toronto's pilot & enthusiast superstore!

Place is empty. Looks like they are closing down soon. Hardly anything on the shelves. When enquired, I was told that they are restocking.

I was awesome! They had extremely friendly staff, and had all the stuff I need, but sometimes they say that they don't have something in stock... But still it was worth going here!

Hardly anything on the shelfs in there. Fine if you're looking for aircraft models and "remove before flight" t-shirts but for charts and other supplies you're better off at the place next door. They had everything I needed.
Response from the owner - a year ago
Our apologies James.. we're working on increasing our stock levels on pilot supplies over the upcoming weeks.. We know we're not at the levels expected of us right now but it's improving... thanks for stopping by and thanks for the feedback.

They never have what you are looking for and they are a bit over priced. The staff are very nice. They just need more planes.
Response from the owner - a year ago
Hi Ollie. I really can't disagree about the product selection we had when you were in last. Over the past few weeks we've worked to build up more stock and are returning to the inventory levels our customers are more used to seeing. We're also working hard to ensure our pricing is competitive. Hopefully we'll see you again so we can leave you with a better impression. Cheers, Steve

Nice Museum. Smaller than i expected. Did the sim it was a bit overpriced. Very friendly staff. gift store items are more expensive than other local aviation stores. but we did enjoy the museum items kills 3 hrs.
Response from the owner - a year ago
Hi Mark, I believe you were referring to another business.. our sim is free to use and our store is the largest of its kind in the country at approximately 4,000 sq. ft. Hopefully we'll see you in the shop soon!

As a private pilot, the store is OK. Most of the items I need are there. As a contractor that was hired to repair their defective communications equipment, I am extremely unhappy! The necessary repairs were made, (which required not only labor but hardware) and the work was completed on Tuesday December 18th 2012. I have not been paid for the job. My office leaves voicemail messages, sends emails and no response. I went myself to the administration office and requested payment, and I was promised payment within two weeks.... NOTHING..... As of June 7, 2013...NO PAYMENT!!
