These people are crooks! Don't trust them. I left the hotel, and they charged my credit card for $600 for what they claimed to be a destroyed TV, rendered useless in what they originally called a bloody altercation (which they now stipulate was water-soluble face make-up from Halloween). Please take pictures before you leave this predatory, lying hotel. They now send me this ridiculous picture of a destroyed TV as their claim. I have tried the Better Business Bureau, a letter to the CEO, and a disputed charge on my Credit Card. I don't know how this will turn out, but I refuse to be taken advantage of by a lying staff of no good ruffians. My first trip to New Orleans was sullied by their lies. Please, please avoid this hotel. I stayed at the Mason Dupuy in the French Quarter the three days before I went here, and they were much more convenient, courteous, and above all HONEST!

Th resort is uptown which is away from the french quarter but an easy 5 minute street car ride to all the action. There are some good cafes and restaurants right by the resort. The resort is great we got a newly renovated room on the 12th floor. The room has twon queen beds that are very comfortable. The great thing about wyndham resorts over a regular hotel is that it actually has a kitchenette with a full size fridge, cooktop, and microwave. This makes it really nice since you can do breakfast in your room or store food, milk or whatever in the fridge. There is also an actual dining room table with 4 chairs. One downside is that the bathroom is pretty tight but the shower is large and has good pressure. The service is impeccable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The location is great! Located between the Gardens and the French Quarter and a 10 minute walk to Magazine st-which have a lot of local shops and restaurants. Another reason that made this place so great was because the trolley stops were right in front of the hotel. So it was very easy to get around during our stay at New Orleans. I also liked this place because there was a pokestop located right next to the pool. We were able to set up lures there while relaxing. Last night there, a Snorlax spawned at the pool.

Have been going there yearly for about 20 years. Have taken many friends and family members. Everyone has loved it. NOLA is a great vacation spot for young and old. Avenue Plaza is in a great location and is a pleasant place to stay. The courtyard has a pool, jacuzi, and plenty of comfortable seating. Idea place to unwind after a busy day. There is even a firepit for cool evenings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooftop has excellent view of city.

Excellent location, beautiful building and friendly staff. The fact that it's such an old building shows in the rooms and thin walls mean you can hear people in the hallway, plus there's some street noise at night. Overall a comfortable stay close to amenities, across from a streetcar stop that will take you anywhere you want in NOLA. There's a haunted house with a tour on the property, but it was closed for renovations during our stay. It's a good place to stay to visit New Orleans, but not your typical Wyndham resort.

We travel TO NOLA every few months for the past few years and Avenue Plaza is part of our Wyndham vacation club so BONUS using points to stay! This is by far the BEST great location - Igor next door is a bonus, the trolley right outside the door. Staff is amazing with a roof top deck and awesome pool. SHOUT OUT Ayman Diab by far best guest services manager EVER! He pays attention to detail and knows thew places to go for fun and food. He goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect! Thanks again Ayman for making our stays so awesome! 10 stars!!!!!! Joe and Joanna

Friendly staff with lots of detailed information on where to go in the city. While some of the restaurants recommended were out of our price range, it was still a nice reference point. Room was clean and the view was OK. Not too noisy on our floor. Pool was small but 6ft deep in one half. Hot Tub was not a time machine. Valet was cheap (20/ night, 10 if owner) and very responsive. In and out privileges definitely helps.

The staff are very quick to help you and don't hold you up for long. The hotel staff are very informative and polite. The prices are reasonable for the area in the rooms are well furnished and taken care of for the customers.

Stayed in the Studio room, the place is right on the edge of the Garden District. Located right in front of the streetcar stop. Easy to get everywhere. Walking distance to Cemetry 1 and a lot of the cool homes to look at. The room was nice, rain fall shower, kitchen of course with a good size fridge. Service here was exceptional, quick check-in and great guest services to book your tours.
