Never knew this insanity even existed.
Not surprising considering it was stupidly expensive. But talk about a Neo-Retro Format.
And you know so for sure since I am showing you so from my current account. This is huge since the minimum average online users at steam is now usually at 5 Million people. With the Maximum average now around 15 Million.
REEAALLY odd timing for they to do it right now considering they got a lot of momentum and would easily reach over 10,000 subscribers and 1.5M views, maybe even 2M if they continued as they had done so for 1 whole year. Specially given that they have had good luck with sponsorships and donations too. Only reasons for them to do this is because they either got some good gigs for something else. Or they hit a wall on their relationship.
Whatever it may had been the cause. I must say that The Daily Decrypt was quite good half of the time. It will be missed. I was not surprised it was successful considering both Amanda and Pete have lots of experience on doing video. It also helped a lot that at the time they appeared all daily shows like the ones from MadBitcoins, Money&Tech, Decentral and others were gone off air too. With the only shows still ongoing being weekly shows like The Bitcoing Group, Epicenter and Lets Talk Bitcoin. Among others.
Man, I would love to see something like this of Mexico City in any year of the 90's. I like how it looks so peaceful, yet it had 1998 reported/filed Homicides. Which according to some groups, you need to add 10% to come up with the real number. That means around 2200 homicides, or 6 a day. For perspective, NYC had 334 filed/reported homicides in 2015. Even with number adjusted that translates to just 1 a day. And to be fair Mexico City had like 1200 -1500 homicides a year back then and in 2015 it had like 500.
Disgusting, Disturbing and Demented are the 3 words that came to me while reading this. Thankfully Peter Todd has unearthed this scheme in the early stages. Anyone that remembers the CoinValidation drama from late 2013 will know that these kind of poisonous plants can only fully develop and do lethal damage if they manage to stay in the shadows.
