“Congratulations to the Class of 2015. Graduation marks the end of one stage in your journey but the beginning of a whole new chapter. You have the skills, attitudes and knowledge to make outstanding contributions whereever you go. Good luck and stay in touch with your AIS family here in Saigon”
Terry Storer, Deputy Executive Principal

Middle School students recently attended a Maths workshop led by George Hart, a visiting Mathematical Sculptor from Stony Brook University.

Together, they constructed a 3D sculpture out of CDs, individual models out of playing cards and hyperboloids as well as learning about the mathematics involved with each structure.

It was a fantastic opportunity to work with a world renowned mathematician and everyone had fun and learned something new. Keep an eye out for the models up in the Maths corridors and classrooms.
