Provided they arrive on time, The Monarch may finally have some henchmen at the convention this year:

Beaverton air quality is considered unhealthy due to the wildefire smoke coming in from the east. Watch yourselves out there!

Wind brought smoke from wildfires burning across the Pacific Northwest to the Portland metro area Saturday morning.

Miu has increased her nerd cred.

In addition to doing the whistles from Kill Bill and the Empire's tune from Star Wars, she now says "Don't Panic" and has the first half of the Final Fantasy victory tune down.

She's our little nerd-bird! X-D

I love when Miu mixes her already learned phrases.

Baby bird + Papa Michael = baby Papa Michael

Wanna take a shower + Wanna go outside = Wanna take [it] outside

So sad... 😢
Lenny B. Robinson, a viral sensation who dressed as a superhero to visit sick children, was struck by a car.

The results are in! I am currently sitting here sipping on my last juice of my 7 day juice fast! It was very interesting.
Of the visible differences, my skin definitely cleared up quite a bit and I lost about 8.5lbs.

Today was the first day I had absolutely no headaches or anything.

My digestion has still been somewhat inconsistent, but that is to be expected when you subject it to such a drastic change. I am hoping this will continue to improve as I get back into eating solid foods, though I still must be very careful what I do eat for the next couple of weeks.

Been looking for great Mexican food in the area, this is by far the best I've had in a while. The restaurant is inside the Cedar Hills Crossing Mall across from Cold Stone. That may seem strange, but you can sit down to eat and they charge you at the end of the meal; not what we were expecting. Everything tastes homemade. They have Italian food too, which I have not tried yet, but the service was great and I would definitely recommend checking it out.

Standard chain type of fair. Had their fish and chips and a cup of chowder. The chowder was better than I expected and the fish & chips were on their fresh halibut menu, which was great. I ordered a smoothy thinking fresh fruit, but they are from concentrate and tasted more like a Jolly Rancher than a real smoothy. I'd go back again, just won't be ordering any of their nonstandard drinks. Update: Went back again and had a pretty bad salad. Won't be returning.

Everything was very tasty here and the service was excellent. I ordered some fried rice and when I first saw it it looked rather plain. But let me tell you, it was packed with flavor! If you love vegan food with an Asian food focus, certainly check this place out.

Went just the other night for the first time. All of the food was really good. Our waitress was excellent. Someone in our party had a hard time figuring out what he wanted and the waitress took the time to chat about what she liked and made recommendations. I had the apple pie sundae and it was super awesome. A great place to stop even just for dessert, though a full meal is also wonderful and their prices are very fair.

Great food and atmosphere. It seems a little more expensive because you're paying for the presentation than necessarily the quality of the ingredients.

We stopped by this place since it was on our way and I was thoroughly surprised. Everything is organic and they have absolutely no artificial ingredients in anything. Very competitive pricing with places like New Seasons. It has no bags at all. So bring your own or use their cardboard box recycling to haul out your groceries. Ingeniously sustainable! It also has a book section, a cooking demo room and a seating area. They have many things in bulk as well. I will definitely be returning for my next healthy foods shopping trip!

Great store and excellent service. I needed extra wide shoes and the person I asked took me right to the varieties that they had. My only qualm is that the shoe aisles were a little narrow. Only one person with a card could really fit down them, so it makes for some traffic jams when it is busy on the weekends.
