I cannot recommend anyone ever go to this school. If you are going to work hard, invest your time and resources , develop your skills and become a better person, visit the school first before you plan anything long term here. You should know what the school is really going to give you first, before you give yourself to a community or a school. This is also a liberal arts institution, if you are a social science or arts major, they are going to prepare you for a lot of different things, that I do not feel really serves anyone in the long run. Atleast not the way they pressure students here about it. For example you have to opt for atleast three science courses and mathematics irrespective of the stream you are in. They have a biology lab course during J terms from morning 8 to evening at 4, five days a week. Or during other semesters, three days a week around two hours class each. If you are an english or arts major with a skill and passion for learning go to a better school with the amount of time and money you are going to invest here. You do not really need to learn biology, physics or calculus unless you are majoring in it. Instead of allowing you to develop and cultivate a mind of your own, there are alot of courses they will make you take with no options for anything else . There are very few courses to choose from. So I would say, with the amount of hours you are going to study, if you are independent, have a passion for study and are looking for a friendlier community this might not be the right place for you. Do not go by what they advertise here. Also for international students they are going to watch you alot. There are a lot of prejudices they do not speak of here. They have no strong student organizations, zero facilities and no optional courses that you might even find in your own country. It is a small school and it is also a church based school. So if you are making the choice of travelling to a foreign country and can speak good enough english, go to a different school with more diversity and more options. This will help you remain motivated while you study. People are adamant and pretentious here. If you are travelling all the way to USA I hope you make a better choice !

I don't recommend this school. Its a church-based school that force you to take religion classes. Professors are very mediocre and old. I take some courses from a community college in MN to transfer credit. Honestly, I find my community college professors are more knowledgeable.

While the professors (most of them) are the best I've ever had, the administration of this college is absolutely imbecilic. I have never had to deal with so many idiot problems such as I have had with the people who run this school. I cannot in good conscious recommend that anyone go here.
