I looked at and test drove a used vehicle one evening after work and decided i would purchase it. (Even though the passenger side mirror fell off when looking at the vehicle, i was assured it would be replaced). I did not have time that evening, so i came back another evening to complete the purchase. The next day at my home after seeing the black car in the daylight i noticed there was a dent in the trunk that was not disclosed to me and i did not notice it before purchasing vehicle. I spoke to the manager Jeffrey Haynes about the dent he said he was not going to give me my requested $200 allowance for it; even though i had paid full asking price for the vehicle. He even implied that I had seen the dent before the purchase, accusing me of lying. I had him send me the used replacement mirror instead of driving back out to the dealer to have my broken one painted and replaced, thus saving him several hundred dollars at his body shop. Jeffrey Haynes still did not agree to an allowance to have my dent fixed. In addition, i received two emails from them stating i would receive $300 in accessory bucks after my purchase. I never received the promised, accessory bucks! I thought about returning the car, but they have a penalty clause built into their fine print to discourage dissatisfied customers from returning a car because of the money that would be charged(restocking fee). Does not seem that customer service or satisfaction is above profits at this dealer! Go somewhere else to buy your vehicle.

Salesman was great, straight-shooter didn't mess around, but the finance department was inconsiderate of our time. We paid in cash and we were in the waiting room for over 2 hours waiting on the finance department to file our paper work. The waste of our time was rude and inconsiderate and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

When asked about my experience at the O'Fallon Auffenber, I feel the need to say "poor". I was very impressed with the price of the car purchased and the price given for my car. Though, that does not make up for the service I received. First, I bought a car with black running stripes down the doors. After the check had been given and papers signed, I go to see my new car, which does not have running stripes. The managers claimed that the stripes were damaged and did not want to send the car off the lot in such condition. The issue with this is, I was never consulted on whether I WANTED to keep the stripes or not. I may have wanted to keep them and repair in areas needed. Also, after the check had been given and papers signed, I got into my new car with blutooth, which ended up not having blutooth. Yes, the manager did offer to let me back out of the deal and give me all of my money back, but I felt that the price was still good and went through with the purchase. I feel like the price of the vehicle came into play in a lot of my decision, if it were not for that, the service I received would have pushed me to back out. After agreeing to the deal, we found out that the spare key battery was dead. The salesman said a new one could be mailed to me and we agreed on that. I have not received anything and I purchased the car last Tuesday. On our drive home (2 hours from O'Fallon), I noticed that there was no car manual in the glove compartment. I texted my salesman and received no response. I asked if the manual could just be sent to me with the key battery, again, no response and no package. I know the dealership did not fall off the map after business was done. If they did, they had enough time to deposit my cashiers check. (I know, I work at the bank I am financed through). I do not need apologies or reimbursements. I just want what any vehicle should come with, a key battery and a manual.
