San Francisco - Be ready to bring in the New Year the proper way at Audio, a nightclub that is rapidly becoming known as the best dance music venue in San Francisco! Audio boasts an untouchable sound system with a professionally dialed in Funktion 1 set up. With outstanding music, the people you love, and a brand new plush venue with an incredible vibe. We have been waiting for over a year to book this special talent and it finally happened on a date that couldn't be any better. Since the first time we heard the sound of Fehrplay with his outstanding track "I can't stop it", we knew that we had found gold. Shortly after that, we heard timeless hits like "nightride", "incognito", "indigo", "phantom", along with a ton of great remixes. It's no wonder that in early 2012, the 24 year old Norwegian signed to Eric Prydz’s legendary Pryda Friends label joining the prestigious roster, which has featured some goliaths of dance music including Axwell, Paolo Mojo, Felix Da Housecat and Sebastien Leger. We describe the sound of fehrplay as having the perfect blend of progressive house music and tech wrapped into a delicious burrito of electronic melody. And it tastes really, really good! Audio will feature special NYE decor and passed hors d'oeuvres from Bergerac from 9-10pm.

*DJ set times: Fehrplay 11:45pm - 2:00am, Festiva 10:15:00pm - 11:45pm, Popgang 9-10:15.

*Bottle service: Tables are selling quickly. Packages for bottle service start at $1,500 and they include two bottles of premium alcohol and one bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne.  For bottle service inquiries, email us at: infoselectsf@gmail.com or call us at 650-281-8307 (prices may vary depending on group size)

*This event is 21+

*Address: 316 11th St. San Francisco Between Folsom and Harrison in the SoMa district.

The world of Audio revolves around sound, and it is a dance club that was created by sound fanatics. The layout of the nightclub, placement of the speakers, design of the 7 layered dance floor, and the Funktion One sound system were carefully crafted to create a revolutionary auditory experience. Combining retro décor with cutting edge music, Audio never sports a dress code and is an intimate venue to hear world class DJ’s without the pretension.

With great sound comes great dancing, and our Nightclub was designed with a centrally located, spring loaded dance floor that keeps the faithful on their feet. The 1600 LED wall is custom programmed to visualize the music, and the thousands of square feet of tufted panels, drapes and acoustic paneling on the ceiling, absorb sound reverberation to create crystal clear mids and high, and punchy base. The result is a night club where the center of the dance floor sounds like a recording studio...just much louder. The two fully loaded brass-and-mirror cocktail bars surround each side of the dance floor making it always easy to get a drink. Our innovative custom lighting incorporates thousands of LEDs, every single one of which can change into any color. 3D video projection, dancers, and disco balls round out the experience. Audio is a mecca for amazing DJ talent, focusing on underground, deep house, techno, EDM and nu-disco music.

Audio is available for both private and corporate events and welcomes all inquiries. We offer services ranging from venue rentals to full service event production and planning. Our venue is 3500 SF with an upstairs capacity of 400, while our downstairs sister restaurant, Bergerac, has a capacity of 250 people. This place is pretty great! Reminds me alot of Cielo in NYC actually. They always have a amazing DJs, and the sound quality is great. The drinks are normally priced for San Francisco clubs.

Came here the second night it was officially open. I got there really early 9:20, which I rarely ever do, but I heard about the awful experience people had the night before. I had no problems getting in. There was no line and I wore proper club attire. (Note: Website does not mention dress code, but they will enforce it). As expected, the place was pretty empty because well it was 9:30. The place stayed pretty empty for quite a while, even though people were telling me a good line had formed outside. By 10 people were texting me about how they were stuck in line, even though the club wasn't even half full yet. I would see like a small group come in every now and then. This always gets me about a club, why would you hold the line? You make money when are in the club right? As far as the club itsself, its a pretty good looking club. Small, but well put together. The lighting on the wall is unique and unexpected. The tube of LEDs behind the DJ reminds you of the beginning of Space Mountain and all the fun that awaits. They even have wall that becomes transparent revealing dancing girls (like at Light). Unfortunately thats where the excitement ends. Maybe its because we got there too early and saw that it was pretty much just a room with nice lighting. Or maybe it needs fog machines and confetti. Whatever it is, it doesn't live up to its hype. I'll probably give it another try when it has had sometime to work out the kinks.

This place always has awesome DJ's, and crowd is on point. Line wasn't too bad, but if you are not getting a table, be sure to arrive on the early side.

I actually had a pretty good time here. It's a fairly small space with one upstairs bar and one downstairs bar in the restaurant section. The night I went they played some deep house music which I enjoyed. It reminded me of Burning Man when I heard the music. I must say that the majority of the crowd was guys though. What I REALLY liked though was the downstairs bar. I was served by I think Ricky or someone with an R. He was awesome. Had the absinthe which was nice and unique. We also got 7 fireball shots which came complete with the bartender lighting his hand on fire and blowing a fireball off it. SOOO cool! Definitely plan on coming back!

Very uptight staff. Unfriendly bar tenders who act like they don't wanna be there. Overpriced drinks, poorly mixed.
