Very pleasant visit. Everyone from the greeter to the cashier were knowledgeable. The courtesy drop was great. My assigned service manager Dexter Thompson was on top of it every step. He actually called and handed my car over to ensure I was taken care of before he left. I give. This a five star treatment😄

Heritage Volkswagen of South Atlanta is the best VW dealer in Atlanta for a reason, the outstanding people who love working there. The quality of individuals translates to the quality of services performed on my vehicle each and every time I take it in. Large jobs or small. Same excellent care every time. I have been to many VW service providers locally and around the country over the lifetime of my vehicle and other VW's that I have owned and Heritage truly rises to the top. To a service person, they always make sure that I leave satisfied with all my questions and concerns answered. After finding a good church, a new hairdresser and good family doctor, I would say the next most important business is the dealer that will take care of my other baby. Thank you Dexter, Jack, Bryant and the whole service crew. I BLEED BLUE!

Be careful! I leased a brand new 2013 VW Eos from them. It's been in the shop now over a half dozen times, most of which are over the same issue. The company won't do anything to assist me in getting this repaired or letting me out of the lease and into something more reliable.

I've bought 3 cars, yes 3, from this dealership. Everyone with whom I've worked has been exceptionally helpful and friendly. I appreciate the Service department's prompt and reliable customer service. Not to mention, that waiting lounge is incredible. Thank you to Brody, and several members of the sales team for always ensuring that my time is spent joyfully!

I bought a 2012 GTI from them 3 years ago and I will admit the car buying experience was great although a bit rushed; and I got a little upset when I tried to leave because my friend had to go to work and they wouldn't let me leave without signing something even though I was way past the point of commitment, and yes he was late to work: and then when I came back to get my car the next day I got a nice subtle comment about being gay, which I am not but that's water under the bridge. Anyway, as far as car service goes, their team can be kind of shady when you talk to them, they seem to always second guess themselves (maybe due to trying to not say the wrong thing because of how overactive customers can get), so most of the time someone will tell you one thing and someone else will be quick to correct the mistake. Example of this case, I was told on day one that if the dealership did not have a loaner I could Rent a car for $1.00USD, then about 3 months later when I hit 10k on my car I was told that Volkswagen no longer offered that luxury, not a big deal. Then 3~4 months later and another 10k suddenly that offer was back on the table. By the way I only ever had a loaner once when I jokingly said that those things were never available and poof suddenly one was. Also if you have an extended warranty, remind your floor service guy every single chance you get or you will be charged for service. They do refund you a check that may take 6 or 7 tries to get because the "USPS has problems delivering mail they send to customers". Dexter is a great guy and seems to care about his work, he is my favorite of the bunch. Also Brad is great haven't seen him in awhile but I always felt like he had my back and he always calls you every step of the way through a fix. Speaking of calling, if you do not pick up your car in a timely fashion because you live an hour away, they will call you and be a little upset wondering where you are and when you plan to pay, so if you don't make it before the service floor closes, they will happily transfer you to someone to collect their money via phone (which is actually kinda nice) and then you can pick it up as soon as you arrive. The actual work done on the car seems to be great, only once was my intake not attached appropriately but luckily the ol' VW has a light saying to check the engine, quick glance and quick fix. Also, I think the guys who wash the cars do an outstanding job, especially since it is a courtesy wash, I just wish it didn't rain every single time I visited the dealer. The service is just okay, if your wheel gets damaged, their wheel guy only comes on a Wednesday which for me is impossible for me to make without taking a day off, so I will never get my rim replaced. Also, if you want a detailed car wash you must make an appointment, something that should be better advertised, in my opinion, but again not a big deal. In general everyone I have met and talked to is very nice and seem honest, including their mechanics who are equally polite. Unfortunately, I probably will never buy a car here again, something just doesn't sit right, but all in all, if you plan ahead they will take care of you and they will definitely go out of their way to make you happy.

I love this location! My VW has required two major services. Each time, the customer service has been exceptional. My service tech Derrick went over and beyond to ensure I left out with a satisfactory experience. This location is a great place to come whether be for maintenance/buying.

Went in for a Check engine light for my 2008 VW Jetta. After a couple of hours received the first call from the service rep. They noted the code was a mass air flow sensor, but it did not seem to be bad, so they needed 3 more hours to perform a point by point diagnostic so it was going to cost me another $300 (approx.). After supposedly doing the diagnostic they came back and said yes it seems to be the mass air flow sensor and so to change it was another $450. I picked it up, but the next day the engine light came back on, so i took it back. They inspect it it again and said it was the wiring to the sensor. To rewire was going to be another $600. Hesitantly i dropped off the car again. I could not get the service rep on the phone for an entire week. A week later finally got the service rep to inform me they were waiting on the part and it was going to be another week. Picked it up the third time, and on they way home the engine light came back on again. Took right back and this time it took another two weeks to hear back from the service rep (Bradley Cody) who informed me VW was now looking into the issue. VW? i thought you were a VW trained service department? Anyway, he finally got back to me and said it was now a bad relay, another $450 dollars which included a $30 relay, $190 for VW to run another diagnostic, $190 for labor (also a test drive?) and the rest was some misc. shop disposal cost? (for what to throw away a bad relay?). For those who don't want to do the math that is a total of $1800, and don't expect them to actually vacuum after every visit. I just picked up my car two days ago... Guess what, The engine light is on again!!!!! For the same code. I hope others learn from my experience. Sincerely, CV.

We went in to look at the Passat, but left with a CC! We worked with Jauntel, Corey and DJ. Had a mix up with the paperwork, but they made everything right! They could have just let the errors go because we had already signed our paperwork, but they went back and corrected everything! Good business, they way it should be done!

I always take my Passat here anytime she needs work done; oil changes, routine maintenence, a check engine light, and resetting factory keys. Dexter and the service team are great, I know my car is in good hands whenever I drop her off or wait in the comfortable atmosphere that the home theater and business center provide. Great job to the whole team, I love the complementary wash and detail, and of course the fair and honest service!
