The weather is nicer. The days are longer. The moods are better. I've started riding my bike on long-distance leisure rides again. (About bloody time!) 27.4 km (17 mi) on Wednesday, and 48.6 km (30 mi) today. My body aches from the sudden increase in physical activity, but I'm happy to be spending time away from the computer.
Since I don't have a camera, I can't document my rides in pictures. Instead, I'm taking screen caps of my route on Google Maps. Still using the old Google Maps because the "new" one can't (for some insane reason) display bike routes and terrain at the same time. However, the old one can.
I'm documenting my rides on a new Twitter feed. Follow if you like. Or don't. It's all about me and my bike anyway.
The photo is from a 2013 ride up Highway 242 to Mckenzie Pass. The road was closed to vehicular traffic, but open to bikes and hikers. So cool!
