If you like Brene Brown's work on the power of vulnerability, the Voice Dialogue approach gives you a way to access and hold your vulnerability while staying connected to the parts of yourself that can take good care of it. When you can access your inner vulnerable child, this allows you to experience intimacy in your relationships. But it's just as important to know how to take care of your inner vulnerable child in order to keep yourself safe. This post from my blog shows you how to do this.

The easiest way to find your soulmate is to give up looking for them. Here's how I did it, in my article published on Tiny Buddha http://www.voicedialogue.com/how-to-find-lasting-love/

Many relationship problems occur because most of us don't really understand how relationships work. We try to communicate more, love more, compromise etc, but often the same issues keep repeating in our relationships.
There's a new way of looking at relationships that involves a new understanding of how we, the people in relationships, work. It involves realising that we are not one consistent self but that we have many parts, or inner selves, all of which affect our relationships.
Thus my responsible self may be around much of the time, but my irresponsible part might come out now and then. Or my pleaser might be who I am most of the time but then my selfish self comes out sometimes. Other inner selves include the perfectionist and the slob, the caretaker and the rebel, the romantic and the rational mind.
When you become aware of how your inner selves affect your relationships, especially how they bond with the selves in your partner in predictable patterns, you can take steps to make lasting changes and dramatically improve your relationship.
To learn how your inner selves work in your relationships, here's an article about it from my blog.
