I am so grateful for Aspen Senior Center Center. I was homebound and couldn’t hardly leave the room that my husband was in for fear he would get into something he shouldn’t. He would even eat my diabetes medications if I turned my back. When I took him on errands or to the store he would wander off or put all kinds of things into the grocery cart. Needless to say, I was half out of my mind with stress and sleepless nights.

When I found out about Aspen Senior Center and visited their facility I was elated! relieved! thankful! Now, my husband goes five days a week and looks forward to going each day. He feels that he is helping them out and he feels loved by everyone there. I feel that he is very well taken care of, which is a loved ones first concern.

I can now catch up with the things that were let go and I can “think” while shopping and paying bills. I can even take a nap if I’m kept up during the night. I am no longer so ornery and I feel at peace.

Thank you to all the Aspen workers who take great care of my husband and others who suffer the same disease.

Gratefully,
Beverly

Reminiscing of Mythology and Legends brought ideas of creating our own castles, singing songs of love, and it is always great to end the day with some Sit and Dance with Becky.
