As an employer, you may love it or hate it but Enterprise Mobility is here to stay. Employee workforce has already started bringing their personal devices to work and I don't think there's anything companies can do to stop them without employing a guard at the front door to check employees' personal belongings. Since this is highly unlikely, lets consider the reasons on why organizations are still reluctant to adopt Enterprise Mobility.

+Ashok Govind Yes. I just ran into one of my pet peeves with android yesterday. The G3 I have is a nice phone, no doubt. The antennas inside don't compare to the 5s though, service was intermittent and lower than when I had my 5s. It got to the point that it happened so much,T-Mobile had me do a factory reset, which I did, it fixed the problem. But, when I signed back into my google account, my apps didn't automatically return like they do on the iPhone, nor messages, nor call history, no notes, etc. Sure I can go into the settings to retrieve apps, which I think is stupid, I shouldn't have to. I didn't even bother restoring anything because I'll have my iPhone Friday Morning. Android is still broken, and isn't as automatic as iOS. Never have I ever had to retrieve any kind of info when getting a new iPhone or even iPad...when I sign in, stuff comes to me. People complain about the iPhone price, it truly is built better. like I said before, the G3 I have has lower reception everywhere, even on wifi, than my 5s did. idk if they were badly placed or just not as good, but I notice it.

A bittersweet day today. With the iPhone 6 launched in Australia, I was able to score an iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB Space Gray from Apple direct, plus my telco has upgraded me to an i6 128 GB Space Gray. On the flip side, my i5S sold for 750 bucks which means I would have to post it out tomorrow. No iPhone till the new phones arrive next Friday (hopefully). :(

SGP Technologies SA, the Switzerland-based joint venture of Silent Circle and Geeksphone behind Blackphone, today announced that Blackphone handsets have started shipping to the device's first pre-order customers. SGP Technologies formally launched Blackphone earlier this year at Mobile World Congress (MWC). Although exact shipping numbers haven't been published, it does appear from the Blackphone Store that it is indeed sold out.

We are long time patrons of this hotel but were exposed to its service horrors today. We've never had to reserve before. Today we walked in and the place was busy. I asked the elderly lady if I can get a table apologising in advance for not having reserved. The lady said in an agitated tone "we're very busy and it may take upto 20 minutes" as she didn't have a reservation. I again apologised and politely stated that we're happy to wait. I could see that the hotel had 4 empty tables inside and 3 empty ones outside probably awaiting those who had reserved. After 30 minutes I quietly walked up to her and asked her if there was any update. She said they're still busy and we'll have to wait while all tables still had not been touched in the last 30 minutes. Meanwhile, I saw a few people just walk in and sit in the tables that were empty without checking and were getting service. 50 minutes later, she still couldn't over us a table and she still had 3 tables empty. If she had allocated an empty table to us, we would have eaten and left 20 minutes ago!!! The other empty tables had been forcibly occupied by people who couldn't care less. We visit this place at least twice a month and our experience today made us decide that we will never visit this place on principle ever again. The owners will eventually realise that busy days are far and few in a year but it is regular patronage from customers like us that make this place what it is. When it closes down due to their "don't care" attitude, we'll understand.
