And, PDAT again ...
It was only just under a year ago that I was talking about PDAT. I was saying that I was going to get going with PDAT again. It was up and running on my Libretto, and I even got an up built (just a proof of concept) and beamed out to my Handera 330. You can...

Unfinished interfaces (10) Wordulator
The idea of Wordulator was that it would make some text for you. That might be a song title, or a poem or a number of other things. It's a random idea generator really, that's all. It's one that I should finish really.

Unfinished interfaces (9) SliderOn
SliderOn was a fairly experimental app for me. You'd move the sliders up and down to change the sound output and the display. As a noise maker it's fairly good, or at least I think so anyway.

Unfinished interfaces (8) Seq1
Seq1 is the last app I started. The basic idea was to create a sequencer that could play either bleeps or simple samples on each of 16 steps. I think that this is definitely a candidate for finishing off.

Unfinished interfaces (6) iNspire
The idea behind this app was to be able to create little random tunes. A bit like ranDRUM but for simple sequences. Again, never finished, but something that I think has a good chance of getting there.

Unfinished interfaces (5) FosSound
This wasn't really an unfinished interface, and, as you can see it barely has an interface anyway. It was in fact a proof of concept for creating an app for the Palm OS fossil watch. It didn't work though, which was a shame. I may go back to it and try a fe...

Unfinished interfaces (11) Xeep
Xeep is an X-Y pad for making bleepy noises (a lot of my stuff is for making bleepy noises). If I remember correctly it is pretty much done now. So it could just need some tweaking to get it done.

BeePo 2 is now no more
I've been messing around with BeePo 2, my simple beep app for Palm OS. Sadly I'm having a lot of trouble with it and it now won't compile at all. Which is a shame really. Anyway, now I'm going to start again with some of the things that I wanted to do with ...

Well that Poll didn't really tell me what I wanted to know
Which is a bit of a shame really, but never mind. I guess that one thing I can take away from it is that there really aren't very many people still using Palm OS any more, or indeed Windows Mobile. That's not going to mean anything for Palmorama though. It'...

Unfinished interfaces (7) Layer
The idea behind Layer was to be able to trigger lots of loops and samples simultaneously. It only got as far as this and hadn't really begun to take shape. It is a candidate to get going again, but a fair way down the list.

And more Seiko SmartPad
So this is the bit which communicates with the PDA. It's all pure line of sight stuff. Which is, when you think about it, the only way you could do this stuff so that it'd work for both Palm OS and Windows Mobile.

More Seiko SmartPad
The PDA housing is pretty simple actually, mainly because it's designed to take a lot of different PDA models and types.
