+Danny Brown nails it. In my opinion, comments are a critical part of what makes blogs great. Respond to your commenters and do it thoughtfully!

I would fully support a Facebook Dislike button if it gives users more autonomy over the content they see in their feeds and searches. I'm tired of seeing things that offend me, things that get a voice largely because they're boosted to high heaven or super famous and influential, and not discovering enough things that matter to me.

It needs to be a level playing field. The algorithm needs to enable people to discover organically what they want to see and control what they don't want/find offensive. And users and Pages who post publicly should get a better shot at having a voice.

I literally just read "Most black actors are terrible." in a post declaring that the absence of non-white Oscar nominees can't be racist.

People with Down syndrome live full lives like everyone else. When you meet or see a person with Down syndrome, see a person. Don't expect anything less.
