Now this is what's called a Live Demo!!!  This is Ohhhsome!!

We are always pushing the limits of our technology, and Project Glass is no exception.  It is designed to help you live in the moment -- even when you’re falling from the sky.

We’re still in early development days, but at Google I/O this morning we wanted to do a product demo in a way we’d never tried before.  We worked with some of the world’s top athletes, combined skydiving and mountain biking, and shared the experience -- through their eyes -- with the world.

If you missed it, we’d love you to be able to see how we put this together, so tune in live tomorrow (weather permitting!) at roughly 11am at https://developers.google.com/events/io/ to check it out.

And you may just catch another Hangout in Air.

Even if you've already seen enough "Hitler reacts" videos, watch this one. It's both funny and insightful.

In the world today, someone dies of hunger every 3.6 seconds.

TLDR: Donate to end hunger and have Google match your amount.

I am excited to let you know that I am participating in a Fast-a-Thon at Google on August 9, 2012. We are raising money for world hunger relief through Action Against Hunger (www.actionagainsthunger.org) (a top charity with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator). Last year, we were able to raise over $171,000 for similar organizations, through the fundraising and pledges to fast of 600 Google employees, and with the support of Google's Social Responsibility team.

To provide some context, we are currently in the Islamic month of Ramadan, during which Muslims fast (abstaining from both food and drink) everyday from sunrise to sunset for 30 days. Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Christians, and people of other religious traditions fast as an act of submission, solidarity, and remembrance. One of the primary reasons for fasting is to call attention to those who go hungry every day, not as an exercise of religious expression, but as a fact of life.

I’d love for you to support my fast by making a donation of ANY amount to this charity. You can donate directly or send me the money first, as Google will match 100% of all donations above $50 USD that are raised by a Google employee:

To take advantage of this gift match program and maximize your contribution, please let me know how you would like to send the money to me (i.e. cash, check, bank transfer, Paypal, Square, etc.). I will then make your donation to Action Against Hunger and process the Google matching.

To donate directly yourself (_Note: Google will not match this contribution._), please visit their donation site at https://secure2.convio.net/aah/site/Donation2?df_id=1180&1180.donation=form1&s_src=nav-donate and complete the form.

Afterwards, if you like please let me know the amount of your donation so I can keep track of the total funds I raise. It costs just $50 to save a life by providing a malnourished child with treatment.  Donate for a good cause.
Make a Lifesaving Gift Today. Thanks to your generous support, Action Against Hunger will be able to provide immediate, lifesaving assistance to people around the world. You can help end hunger. Make ...

This was the worst Indian food ever. Stale and sour paneer. Horrible veg thali. Outright pathetic. Don't go.

Pete, the bike shop owner is one of the nicest shopkeepers I have ever met, and that is to say a lot I know. He comes across as a very friendly and very helpful guy. He will not only let you try different bikes till the time you pick one that suits your best (I tried three bikes and he was ready to bring out many more if I wasn't satisfied). He even lent me his winds heater and gloves besides a detailed map with pictures of the flattop trail. I am going back there tomorrow to rent again, this time for the coastal trail. The bikes are in real good shape and in less than $20 this is the best thing you could do in Anchorage. He even stayed back for another half hour after his closing time since we got delayed in coming back and greeted us very pleasantly. Great customer service, great bikes and an amazing experience riding around Anchorage.
