Outstanding place to visit. Well managed, nice and helpful staff. Beautiful cabins, quiet, and very enjoyable. A place to go back to over and over.
Response from the owner - in the last week

A wonderful place to visit. Staff very friendly, accomodating and helpful.Very close in to all the Asheville highlights and amenities yet it has the feel of being secluded from city life. Cabins are very well stocked with all the essentials and many extras (such as a can of local shortbread cookies, a welcome basket and a first aid kit.) Only possible drawback is most of the units have bedrooms on lower levels (one bath below and one bath on main level) and area is not easy to get around if walking is a difficulty. A great place for families with all the outdoor activities on sight. Will love to return.

Willow Winds was wonderful! We really enjoyed our stay. Our cabin, Tony's Treasure, was beautiful and well maintained. We had everything we needed. The fountain behind the cabin was an unexpected treat, it was so relaxing to see and hear and beautiful when all lit up at night. The grounds of Willow Winds are lovely and we enjoyed walking them and going to the playgrounds with our baby. Our daughter is 6 months old and we really appreciated the baby swings on the playgrounds. My husband and I also enjoyed the water balloon filling and launching station. I could picture us there in the future with our kids, having a blast! The Willow Winds staff are all amazing, I've never met nicer people! They were wonderfully accommodating, full of information for things to do and see around Asheville, and always waved or said hello when they would see us driving or walking past the office. This was our first visit to Asheville, and our first time staying at Willow Winds and we didn't want to leave! We had a great stay and a wonderful first family vacation. We can't wait to return to Willow Winds again soon! Thank you!

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Jens Jewel. We were celebrating my husband's retirement and had just left his party in Greenville, NC. This was a great way to continue the celebration. We enjoyed the sounds of nature and the beautiful surroundings. The cottage was great and was well stocked. We enjoyed the convenience of being close to the trout pond and being able to come out to fish as well. This was a great way to stop and ENJOY LIFE.#EnjoyLife........THE BAILEYS

My wife and I stayed at the Cabins of Willow Winds for two nights and three days. It was a most enjoyable experience. You often hear the importance of location, and Willow Winds could not be more perfectly located. Only minutes from downtown Asheville, yet the cabins are secluded on a hillside with a mountain stream feeding a pond with numerous smaller ponds, fountains, and views which add to the ambiance of the location. Beautiful well maintained cabins could not be better. Gracies Willow, is a beautiful one bedroom cabin which we look forward to returning to soon. The mountain to the sea trail is an added bonus.

My tennis team and I stayed at 3 of the cabins at Willow Winds during the State tournament in Asheville. Everyone said it was the best time they have had at a tournament. We grilled instead of being forced to go out to dinner (all 9 guys fit easily for dinner at one of the 3 cabins) and guys loved the hot tubs after playing tennis all day. It made the 5 nights a great team experience. Guys fished in the trout pond, used the hot tubs, watched TV, grilled, sat out on the decks and just had a wonderful time. The internet worked terrific and guys had breakfast at the cabin before matches. We were surprised how secluded the cabins were and yet so close to downtown, Biltmore Village and the mansion. Mary and Judith were great to work with and helped make the experience one we will remember. We will be back next year and may visit sooner with our wives.
