Hey! I wrote a thing again! This time about UE4.
Back at it again folks. Hey loyal (and not so loyal) readers! This time, I've been meaning to do some work in Unreal Engine 4. I've wanted to much around in that playground for ages and this May long weekend, I thought I'd take a stab at it again. And man, has it *ever* been a long time since ...

Bit of a long story. We recently came out of a Consumer Proposal. We went to a different dealer (not a Hyunday) to trade in our 2013 Santa Fe for something a bit smaller. Previous dealer was, to be honest, couldn't be bothered to work with us. So, we decide to keep our Santa Fe for a couple of years. We planned to put some money into the Santa Fe to fix a few things (front end issues). We stop in, make an appointment with the service department, who were incredibly helpful. On the way out, we see a sign that says they're looking for 2013 Santa Fe's. So, we look around an John Monster (yes, that's his real last name) talks to us and walks us through a few things. In a short period of time, we're talking with Larrissa in finance. She's incredibly helpful and gives us some solid advice. But she also says "let's see what we can do" The next day, we walk out with a 2015 Tuscon. At what our last payment was. I have to say, working with John Monster and Larrissa was an absolute pleasure. Totally worth talking to them!

Came in for an oil change on a car less than a year old, in good working order. Was immediate hit with an "oh, we're going to have to bump you up to the 48000 Km service". Which is significantly more expensive that the $90 service. And not necessary at this point. 10 minutes later was then hit with a long list (approximately $1000 more) of things that needed work. Highly dubious, especially where we haven't had the car a year. Will not be returning to their service department. Nor their sales department. Anyone out there recommend a reputable Hyundai dealership?

I would recommend that you avoid this dealership, as we will never deal with them again. We are in an unfortunate situation, credit wise (of our own doing) and we were very up-front about it durin all our visits. During each appointment we were always led to believe that 'there were possibilities'. After many months (I'm not exaggerating) and up finally going in to ask what was going on, we were finally contacted, by email (not by phone) with a final, terse denial and a useless suggestion. I feel bad, as the salesperson, Robin, was very helpful, but the lack of professionalism from their other staff does not bode well for this dealership. It's truly unfortunate, as our family loves the Forester lineup. And with them changing in 2014, we were hoping to get one before that change.

New ownership. Highly recommended. Only one complaint, they aren't open on Sundays. aside from that the owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Always a great experience when we pop in for an appointment. Friendly, Helpful and always ready to listen. One of the best dentists we've ever been to. We moved to Richmond hill from BC and were truly fortunate to find such an amazing group! Highly, highly recommended.
