Art People is an amazing gallery with many various arts on display at all times. Every artists work that is put on display never fails to obtain the interest of people walking by. The owner, Ali Meamar, has been a professional artist for most of his life, and has gained much success from opening Art People. The Gallery itself has an uplifting vibe, and a positive atmosphere. All the artists and people that work there are very polite, and treat every costumer with equal respect. Next time you plan on visiting San Francisco, make sure to stop by at the Art People Gallery!

A warm, friendly gallery featuring San Francisco artists. I liked the sense of fun - not taking itself too seriously - but showing beautiful art.

An art gallery unlike any other. This place is so full of diversity with knowledgable employees who know what they are talking about when it comes to art. The atmosphere is breath taking and the fact that it is located in the Crocker Galleria makes it all the more better because I can run in for a bite to eat at all the great places there are to choose from upstairs and still have time to stop by Art People. They sell art and do frame work, and they even hold private and public events, which gives us one more spot to be at in the city! This place never lets me down with neither their appearance nor service. Very classy!

ArtPeople Gallery is a beautiful art gallery located inside the Crocker Galleria, literally steps away from the Montgomery BART station. It showcases a variety of artists, local and international, mainly contemporary, in a variety of media. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They are also respectful; it’s a pleasure to be able to walk around the gallery without having some salesperson breathing down your neck to try and sell you something… It’s one of my favorite places in San Francisco, and I visit it as often as I can!!! I’ve already purchased two pieces from ArtPeople, a print by Hessam Abrishami, whose work I LOVE, and a small gorgeous abstract (mixed media) by Ali Meamar. I think my next acquisition is going to be a beautiful green marble sculpture by Guy Clement Cohen that I’ve had my eye on for a while… Waking up in the morning to such beautiful artwork on my walls just makes my day! Not to mention the fact that I’d rather invest my money in art, which is the only thing whose value continues to increase steadily these days, rather than in that bottomless pit that is the stock market… ArtPeople Gallery also hosts social networking events twice a month in the evening, which they call “Art and Wine at ArtPeople Gallery.” They also have regular openings for their artists, and I can’t think of a better way to spend my evenings than to walk around looking at artwork, with a glass of good wine, and to meet like-minded people.
