Have you ever wanted to paint in France? Well - two people just created spaces in Pat Fiorello, Artist's workshop. If you're an instructor you know how this is when you limit the group for a good experience. If you are a student, this is your chance.  http://patfiorello.com/PDF/Giverny-Flyer2015.pdf

Are you an artist who has discovered there are healing benefits in creating art for yourself and/or others?

Or do you create art to promote positive transformation within yourself, to inspire others, and/or stimulate awareness about healing our planet?

If so, this exhibition, May 17-July 17, 2014, is designed to promote artists like you and the benefits of your Art to a wide international audience.

Every year Manhattan Arts International presents "Celebrate The Healing Power of ART", If you haven't already done so, consider entering Renee Phillips show Art Heals at Manhattan Arts International.

Unless you are of the iPad generation, as a kid maybe you had a chalkboard or an Etch-a-sketch with a paintbrush and water instead of dials. You drew, you looked, you erased and started over.

Have you ever seen a Zen art board? It’s an update to the chalkboard surface where you can make art with a brush and then as the water evaporates, the image fades. The idea is to stay open to the present moment and have fresh eyes for new ideas.

I’m all for being present in each moment that we create, connect and communicate.

I’m also dismayed at the increasing pressure to do more, faster in all things. To produce quality results that have staying power, sometimes you have to buck that trend.

In December I started a series of interviews and series articles about Making the Most of Giving Art to Fundraisers http://budurl.com/ArtFundraisers. In January, I extended that theme into donations to help other artists by making a donation to CERF+. http://budurl.com/CSICerfHelpArtists This month, I am continuing with articles about random acts of kindness that morph onto other benefits. In my morning blog reading< i've come across a few others who have joined me. latest is http://budurl.com/FreeDoers via mark McGuiness.
