Well so concludes the 2012 IIHF World Championships...
Russia wins gold! dominating Slovakia 6-2
Good Job to Yevgeni Malkin took home MVP something he's hoping to do also in the NHL this year as he played simply phenomenal all year for the penguins and apperantly wasnt done come the worlds.

"It was the Russians' first gold since Switzerland 2009. Reflecting their renewed hockey superpower status, they became the first champions to win all their games in regulation since the 1989 Soviets, who also won 10 straight."

The winners for the other positions...
Best Goalkeeper: Jan Laco, Slovakia
Best Defenceman: Zdeno Chara, Slovakia
Best Forward: Yevgeni Malkin, Russia
I can't say that i like Chara in the NHL or on the Bruins but I can say he did damn well for his country..
