Message from the Innkeepers:
We wanted to let you know what’s been going on with us this summer. We have been back and forth to Philadelphia because in May, our 10-yr-old grandson Joshua was diagnosed with aplastic anemia. This means his T-cells are attacking his red and white blood cells and platelets. Long story short, he needs a bone marrow transplant. The miracle is that his 5-yr-old sister is an exact match! Currently Joshua is fighting a sinus infection which is being surgically removed today so he can undergo the transplant. We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers and wanted to let you know of a practical way you can help Joshua and others like him: Join the Bone Marrow Registry. This allows you to donate bone marrow for someone in need that you match. Check back here and we’ll periodically update everyone about our precious grandson.

Featured among Thrillist’s 21 Best Donut Shops in America, Monuts has become well loved for their exotic flavors of both yeast and cake donuts. Like those at Thrillist, we’re big fans of the chocolate chai and strawberry buttermilk. Try one on your next visit!   http://bit.ly/1mieEMD

We held a Duke University Dance Program daylong retreat at Arrowhead Inn, and it was perfect for our needs!  We had access to comfortable meeting space both inside and outside, and the lunch that was provided by Phil was fresh, healthy and superb!  Loved the horseshoe pitch, the hammock and the landscaping in general.  Thank you, Gloria and Phil!

The historic town of Hillsborough, which is just a short drive from us, is no exception to the rule of cool places to explore in our area, and this tiny town provides a much more intimate feel and offers affordable and engaging activities for the whole family.      http://bit.ly/1hjFAf4

We stayed here for two nights of our honeymoon. The cottage was beautiful and private, and having our breakfast served to us on the porch was fantastic! It was in a beautiful area, close to shopping and wonderful dining options. The innkeepers are so sweet and accommodating! The hot water in the cottage seemed to run out quickly though, but when we asked they were able to immediately fix the problem. Overall wonderful experience and we will definitely be back soon!

We stayed at the Inn for three nights - it was wonderful! Gloria and Phil go out of their way to ensure that everything is done perfectly. The breakfasts are fabulous and we were fortunate enough to also have dinner there. Phil is an extraordinary chef. I can't say enough good things about the Arrowhead Inn; can't wait until we can go back.

The Arrowhead Inn is just incredible. The place is beautiful (just like you see in the photos) and the rooms are well decorated in a historical style. The breakfast is truly gourmet. We had a wonderful egg dish with fresh fruit on the side. Phil and Gloria are really friendly and fun to chat with. They made our stay feel really special. I recommend to splurge on a room with whirlpool and steam shower as we enjoyed them each morning and felt awesome. Super clean, very comfy beds, amazing trees and gardens too.

Had a wonderful stay at the Arrowhead Inn to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Phil and Gloria are so warm and inviting. They really pay attention to every little detail. It's a gorgeous property with fantastic owners!

Gloria and Phil Teber (the owners) are fantastic. The Guest Cottage was amazing, and the grounds and garden surrounding the property were ideal for an outdoor wedding. The food was second to none - Phil is a master chef! If you are looking to have a small, intimate wedding, definitely check out the Arrowhead Inn! My new husband and I are already planning to celebrate our first year anniversary there!

What a fantastic place! I stayed in the Duke Suite and it was phenomenal, Jacuzzi, Fireplace, and every other amenity I could ask for. Don't miss out on a dinner there as Phil is an excellent chef. We were treated to his signature Salmon dish. They showed me the private cottage/cabin out back, and next time I go, I am definitely booking that place! Arrowhead Inn is the only place to stay if you're visiting anywhere in the Raleigh-Durham area. It is a short drive into Durham and it makes you feel so far away with beautiful gardens and a serene, relaxing atmosphere.
