USAA does not pay vendors timely! I am a general contractor in Las Vegas and USAA has all the paper work from a loss back in March of this year and daily we call them for payment. I get the same old runaround, they need me to email documents that I have sent several times. We ask for a supervisor and the intellect of the supervisor is far less than the skill of there adjuster. We are going on seven months of running around. As a GC we did a loss at a Las Vegas highrise, the HOA insurance agreed to pay 1/2 of a loss back five months ago and USAA agreed to pay there 1/2. Well I am here to tell you, USAA doesn't care for there vendors with the level of respect that a company like USAA should. I noramally tell my clients that USAA is one of the better choices, as of this time I will stop advising clients to go with them. I have been in this field of business for over 20 years, we generate over 1.5 million dollars is business a year. So I'm not a new person to the business nor do I lack skills with insurance companies. DON"T insure your home to USAA!!! Sub standard C- company!!!
