Say Hi to Sgt. 1st Class Don Dillenbeck, one of our talented sound technicians! Here he is at a recent concert in Dearborn, Michigan. It looks like he has his work cut out for him!

Some of our Soldiers have a long family history of military service. Our horn section leader, Master Sgt. Alan White, shares about his maternal grandfather who also served in an #Army band!

"Martin Tanner grew up in an orphanage in Brooklyn and served as a member of the 302nd Engineers Band during #WWI. This photo of the band was taken on February 22, 1919 in Sablé, France. Tanner is on the far right in the front row end of the front row and there's an arrow drawn beneath him. The Band was part of the 77th Division (Empire State). After the war, Tanner played cornet for a time in silent movie houses and later moved down to Wilmington, NC, where he became a Freight Rates Auditor for the Atlantic Coast Railroad. My mom was his only child, and he passed in 1966."

We always appreciate hearing from our fans! One audience member recently wrote: "I would like to thank Colonel Keene for taking the time last night to stop and talk with my family. My daughter had several questions, but she was way too nervous to approach him. Her words to me were "Mom, he is a FULL COLONEL! You don't just walk up to him!!" We loved the concert, and appreciate what you do. Thank you again!"
