I grew up
and spent pretty much my whole live in the suburbs of beautiful Zurich,
Switzerland. Even though, I’m working as
a Commercial Clerk in real live, I’ve always been drawn to the world of graphic
design. This all started several years ago when I thought it would be really
nice to create my own website – back then I was still a student. I somehow found
myself liking the process of creating websites more than the process of keeping
it updated. So, I decided to only design websites for others. However, since my
creativity at that time was pretty overwhelming while the number jobs that I
got was fairly little, the bulk of my creations would never go online.
point came across Joomla, which I really loved and on which I would base all my
websites henceforth. Joomla made it possible to sell some of my websites and
made it way easier to provide as a “one man part time web design company” web
solutions for whole companies. Plus, I could focus more on the designs and
would not need to do that much coding anymore.
ago, I also picked up logo design. Letters and letter combination having been a
passion of mine since I can remember, this was (and still is) a very fulfilling
and relaxing work to me. It’s amazing how many cool and never seen combinations
of letters you can come up with. And, it’s great to see this little pieces of
art developing from nothing more than an empty file inside of Illustrator (I
started in Ps BTW).
passion is photography – it’s just amazing, it really feels as though my cam
completed me. However, as you might imagine, I’m for sure not one of the guys
who does all the work at location/insight of my cam. I really love
post-processing and, even though, I’ve worked with Ps quite a while, working on
pixel-based images/photos is for me quite new. So, I’m spending tons of time
discovering new ways of taking and post-processing pix. Time being, I mainly
focus on landscapes, but this is to change soon. I can’t wait having my first
shoots with models; I’m sure this is one of the things which I will fall in
love with as soon as I get really into it.
