This is a great acknowledgement of all the work and achievements by the students in the senior classes. It's been fabulous working with the students and staff at Grovely, and everybody is having a great time - almost…

Stuff we do at +OpenSTEM: last week we taught parents, a teacher, and several dozen students soldering - in their classroom!

In a few weeks, other senior classes at the same primary school.
This is part of a robotics program, the kids also assemble the robots from base components, and once assembled they do programming.
They're having great fun and learning heaps.

The school has acquired the robots (a handful per class!) so the kids can keep using, exploring, extending....

Once again developed by the awesome Ben Pirt, you can now pre-order version 2 of the Mirobot for delivery in November 2015. Just in time for Christmas!

OpenSTEM uses the Mirobot turtle with students in primary schools doing soldering, assembling and introduction to programming, so we’re very happy to recommend this.

If you want a Mirobot before November and are in Australia, head over to our Mirobot v1 in OpenSTEM web store.

And if you’re interested in our school workshops, please contact us!

If cuts to science funding go ahead, what will we miss out on? It's crucial we save science from these cuts.

If you want to surveil people, you should have to get a warrant.
