When I was first having trouble with my back and going to the Dr's and trying different thing and nothing was working. Finally my Dr recommended AZ Pain that is where I meet your staff and Dr Hogan. Thank God!!! The staff is great, caring people, there was only one person that I had a problem with and she is no longer there. I got my shots for like 3 or 4 weeks in a row and yes they did the job. Everyone at my work said thank god you are back to your old self. I didn't realized just how much it was affecting my until it was all said and done. And yes I've had to go back but over the last 3 or 4 years l have always gotten relief. I Love this place!!!!!!! I would highly recommend it to anyone give them a change to change your life. Thanks!

I am a long time patient of Dr. McJunkin who treated me for degenerative back disease. After years of pain management,(epidural injections) Dr. McJunkin explained to me that my condition was a structural condition which was worsening. He believed my condition had reached that point where relief from epidurals was becoming short lived and suggested l and I might want to ""consider"" talking to a back surgeon. Dr. McJunkin carefully explained the situation, took the time to discuss pro's and cons, and when I was ready, he personally helped me find just the right surgeon. Bottom line, I had 100% successful surgery on my L-4/5 on January 30, 2013. I woke up in recovery pain free, and have remained that way ever since. Arizona Pain Specialists not only helped me manage my pain, but took a personal interest in helping me find a cure. They gave me my life back. There are no words to express my gratitude to Dr. McJunkin and the entire caring staff at Arizona Pain Specialists. I have, and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Terrible! Don't waste ur time! I have a herniated disc L5 S1.3 epidurals din't work, pain was severe. 4 trips to er in 3 days! No help from AZ Pain Specialist at all. They were not even managing my pain but just giving muscle relaxers and anti inflamitories. No service from staff, no continuity in care. Dr. Anderson and staff was rude & even laughed at me. He said he would electronically send over new scripts & 2 hours later & more follow up calls to his office and they were sent. Then to find out he gave me meds that I couldn't take because of past stroke! He referred me to a neuro surgeon but when i called the number he gave me it was a cardiologist office NO JOKE! I found my own doctor at Barrows Neurological Institute. In 1 day they already have my mri's and records and r reviewing for apointment with a REAL doctor. It's not fun when your in excruciating pain and can't get help from anyone at AZ Pain Specialist. Save your health, time & money go to Barrows for real help!

I will never be able to say enough about Daltrey Tyree at the Chandler office. She is focused on me only when I have an appointment, she is resourceful when finding a way to help me deal with my pain; she does not push treatment on me, she ensures that we are both on board with the next step of my treatment. The staff at the Chandler office is great, always a smile, very polite, very patient espically when I am having a really bad day. They direct me to a room, talk to me while they do their job and they make me feel comfortable. Dr. Pico and his procedure staff are great, always a smile, explains what's going to happen, always states when I will be touched. This is very important to me, since most procedures I have I am unable to see anyone face.

when I went into see the Doctors for low back pain, I wasn't able to take any narcotics because I am a nurse, and cannot work on pain medications. They told me about the ablation to my back, I have had a few over the past few years and they seem to last longer and longer. its been over a year for this one, I do get occasional pain but the compound cream they give me for my back gets me through my whole shift at work fine. As a patient I have to contribute to my healthcare, I have to keep weight off, exercise and I do yoga which helps more than any medication. Also I forgot to tell you is I have one kidney and cannot for any reason take anti inflammatory medications. So as you see the Doctors at Arizona pain specialists had one difficult patient. After the prodcedure I had my pain increase slightly for a few weeks, but totally improved to gone on days and some days hurt a little but tolerable. I know if my back starts to hurt more again, I know I have to loose a few pounds , work out a little extra to help it along. No ablations needed yet. Its worth every dime.

Mayo Clinic put me on the Fentanyl patch about six years ago. Starting out at 25mg it had to be increased to 50mg after a period of time. After joining Arizona Pain Specialists to take over my pain care, the patch stopped working the last 12 hours and I needed changing again. Rachael, my PA there decided to run a test to determine the genetic reaction to opiates. She discovered that I have a gene that would cause me great harm if I continued on the Fentanyl patch. She immediately took me off of it and prescribed different pain medication appropriate for my genetic makeup. I am forever grateful that she was so astute to question the effect the patch was having on me and investigated the problem. I can compare how really bad I felt on the patch and how truly improved I feel on the new medicine. Thank you so very much Rachael. Nancy Haggard
