Greetings!
As we are now heading in to our beautiful northwest summer season, a money saving pointer is in order...
It is very, very common that our refrigerator's air flow is at least partially restricted, and will benefit greatly from being, well, unrestricted!
A little background: A refrigerator doesn't actually make things cold, rather, it removes heat from the interior compartments and takes it to the exterior where it can be dissipated into the surrounding area. Most modern units have a fan cooled coil underneath, which also cools the compressor (the refrigerant pump). When these components operate under higher than normal heat conditions, ie higher ambient temp and reduced air flow, it reduces the efficiency of the refrigeration process. More importantly, it causes these components to overheat and fail prematurely.
It is highly recommended that the consumer check or have the refrigerator's condenser coils and fan operation checked periodically to remove any lint or pet fir build up that has occurred. Once a year is the preferred interval, but perhaps every four to six months in some situations. Then your refrigerator's "high side" components will stay cool and happy. And a happy refrigerator consumes less energy, has fewer mechanical problems, and helps to prevent food loss should a failure occur.

Feel free to call with any of your appliance repair needs, or visit our website at www.appliancepro.us/  Have a safe and happy summertime!

SPECIAL!!!  Refrigerator maintenance check up. Only $69.99 (+tax)
Over $30.00 in Savings!

We will visit your home and inspect your refrigerator's overall functional condition, proper operation, and lubricate as needed. We can then alert you to any functional issues (or the lack there of!). And we will vacuum out your refrigerator's condenser coil at no extra charge!
